Good job brotherJust an update. Flipped to 12/12 and are looking better now I've upped the feeding to every 3hr, it must of been right about letting the coco dryback too much. On my next run I will keep the feeds every 3hr and see if I bump into the same problems. I will update on here on my next run for anyone experiencing the same issues I was. Thanks for all your help
Cheers palGood job brother
Why not just water every 2 hours the lights are on? Plus one in the night to keep salts from building? You'll get faster growth, and better EC control.Just an update. What are you suggesting pal? Water every 2hr on the 24hr timer so that's 12floods a day? I'm already on 8 floods a day? CheersWhy not just water every 2 hours the lights are on? Plus one in the night to keep salts from building? You'll get faster growth, and better EC control.

Dude I was outdoors as well it was you mimed and Db, a few others here on the farm, that got me going in the right direction . Couple years later we are providing high quality meds for ourselves ! And I can still improve - but better than anything I can buy where I’m at !You all are just to kind…. Makin a guy blush lol. ThcFarner and it’s members have helped give me the tools to give back to this awesomeness of a community.
2 heads are better than one but a community is far greater than that and this community is by far the most capable, healpful and selfless group of like minded ppl on the net. Who wouldn’t want to be part of it and try to give back.
OK, I don't seem to be having anymore problems now and that's me flooding every 3hr so 8 x 15min floods in 24hr. Would you take the floods off during lights off? They do seem to be doing better?but only feed lights on at most once needed maybe once during lights out
Forgot to add, I'm 12/12 now so 4 floods lights on and 4 floods lights offOK, I don't seem to be having anymore problems now and that's me flooding every 3hr so 8 x 15min floods in 24hr. Would you take the floods off during lights off? They do seem to be doing better?
Yeah id just do every 2 hr lights on and 1 feed middle of the darkOK, I don't seem to be having anymore problems now and that's me flooding every 3hr so 8 x 15min floods in 24hr. Would you take the floods off during lights off? They do seem to be doing better?

Perfect, I'll change up now. Another quick question. Is silicon really needed? I'm trying to keep it simple as possible by using just canna base nutes A+B but I've got a bottle of silicon right here and it seems a waste.Yeah id just do every 2 hr lights on and 1 feed middle of the dark

I agree 1.2 to 1.6 for mature plants is a great place for coco. The problem was his EC of runoff was rising and i think the deficiency or lockout was more due to dryback and plants not being able to take up nutrients since plants cant really pull water out of coco under 30% saturation.Hey man, so I will offer my opinions here. Those pictures combined with what your feeding, those plants are starving. You have multiple deficiencies going on due to lack of nutrients. The light green and almost yellow leaves are a dead giveaway. Your barely feeding full grown plants what I feed my freshly planted clones. If your tap is .5ec and your feeding 1 ec your only suppling .5 ec of nutrition. Your going to significantly reduce your crop yield if you continue flowering with such low amounts of feed. And I grew in coco petite mix for 7 years but now in straight coco for the last 5.
Quick fix get some earth worm castings and put about an inch on the top soil and in few days she will be very happy ...prob fixxedThis is the video, thanks for your replies.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years is there’s more than a few ways to grow in coco lol. I definitely feed stronger but not as much as I used to when starting out with coco/perlite. I don’t see any issue with the op’s runoff ec or it rising a bit, still very low imo. I think the flushing just made things worse, been there done that lol. Hard to know how much dryback he was getting, I can’t imagine much if he was feeding during lights off. The op will have to try different things and see what works for his situation.I agree 1.2 to 1.6 for mature plants is a great place for coco. 500-800ppm on 500 scale depending on VPD and strain i found to work extremely well.
