I think if you are wanting a serious NL, this is the place to start..........www.peakseedsbc.com

This one may be the closest to the original you can find, and this is from NL experts (not me).

NorthernLights (indoor/outdoor)

Pure Strain

Product code: NL

Type/subspecies*: Mostly indica

Flowering period**: 8-9 weeks indoor

Potency: Strong

Growth Pattern: Medium/short height, stout, uniform, productive branching.

Breeders comment: Couchlock, medicinal-use, low-odor, simple and easy to grow. Classic, original, indoor strain.

I had to go smell a jar. It’s changed for sure since starting cure.
started almost minty and then it became subtle blend of everything, spice, earthy, fruity(think jam), pepper, floral. It’s my favourite for terps I’ve grown so far.
Really well rounded imo
Yeah, sounds like quite a bouquet. Awesome!

Lol, I think I am going to shoot my shot with what I have for now...but I will keep that in mind in case the results are disappointing. Something tells me they will be at least decent though...

if someone could tell me how to do it properly I’d send you a clone if you can ship across border.

So.

For @beluga and @Flexnerb re: inherent vice....because I am insane. But so not want to drag @beluga 's thread further into this silliness.

In case you wonder why I like inherent vice.

And when they express traits and density of sacs and hollow stems and how tall and looking at leaf shapes vs females and structure and so forth.

Just saw that Can's Vitamin C is the featured song in that. (Didn't know that was a thing for movies..?)
Love this shit.
