Okay so Ive never grown anything indoors, the cost has always kept me at bay and my whole experiences deals with outdoor an more specifically gorilla grows. Legal now blah blah blah, do to a domesticated pet taking out one of my female seedlings i was left with an open spot. I didnt wanna risk putting a male with my girls so I had to come up with something. I present to you my under 20 dollar set up. I have a few seeds ive acquired over the past year and know what they are just not the sex. A couple of good deals fell into my lap and poof I was up and runnin, Im literally learning an dealing with things on the fly and using what little i do know. Not much info on this type specifically but most of the indoor control room stuff applies. My main purpose in this is just to get one female to join the others. If it goes well then maybe a continuation as kind of a toy, project with ensue. Who knows but for what I have invested there cant be much let down. I say under 20 dollars because...... The tote I had, seeds were free, the lights im using were 8 dollars for 5 at a second hand store, and the nutes were all mispriced so I got them dirt cheap. And the medium is leftover from outdoor grow, its promix with a lil perlite, and I ran out of that so I went out to my veggie garden an grabbed a few solo cups of good topsoil. So some things fell into place and im obligated to continue ha ha ha ha or so I tell myself. Yes there is always good, better, best, but this is just ok. ha !!!!!!!

Things are still going well, noticed some signs of root bound. Replanted in bigger containers today. Another 2 weeks an light schedule will change. Only trying to do two in this to completion.

I would love to have them in a closet. I just am not permitted. So i have to make do. As far as heat it stays below 75 degrees. The tote is in a metal cabinet in my garage. Im in northern michigan so its still pretty cold. The garage temp hovers right around 60 during the day and mid 40's at night. So my fan is pullin in that chilled air. I didnt plan it that way, but its working. I just need two more weeks till i start to see sex of the plant. Then the females are joining the others outside. If there is an extra female then that will be the continuation of this tote grow experiment. If not then it was fun an i learned that next year i will sprout them in this box to begin with. Time will tell.

I'm not permitted either b as long as shit is on the down low your good just don't tell no one lol. Your just gonna come across problems in there not enough space cause they stretch during bloom phase.
HA HA HA NAH, I'm legally permitted to grow 12, my set up is outside but my cat took out one of my female seedlings so I had these seeds from dispensary purchases. So I need another female. What's funny is I can grow in this tote etc. ITS THE MISSES WHO WONT ALLOW ha ha I call her my fun governor, she governs how much fun I can have. I purchased a few items today, I think this steel cabinet may just turn into my tote so to speak. An keep it for growing one or two while my outside grow continues. Thanks for the tips!!!

Looks good so far. But your going to run into room issues. Including humidity build up when the plants are bigger.
Make it bigger!
Make it look like a stack of totes.

Best of luck.
Peace
Thanks, I think I may turn the cabinet into "the closet
Sounds good bro and dam the misses don't smoke? Sucks tho bro hopefully soon she'll just be like fuck it.
she can't smoke due to her job, to much to lose if she were to be dirty.

I'm not saying this will make u guys happy or anything but I made some adjustments.. When flower time comes I will have more lights in center. Time will tell, I'll be able to adjust the lights as I can adjust the shelves, the shelf u see outside painted white actually sits inside to for a box, like u see in one of the pics above. Last pic is showing it's light tight, in the future one could use the top half for offsetting grows.

So I flipped the light to 12/12 today, replanted into bigger containers, good call on the humidity, I was surprised how hot it gets in there with just the lights. Im not used to that or this at all. Ive never had to pay attention to stuff like that first hand. Outside is way easier imo so far. Should be interesting to see how long it takes to show m/f.

Wait till your parents find out dear lord. In a few weeks find yourself a nice spot in the woods and put them fuc*ers in the ground somewhere. Your setting yourself up for failure in the confined of an area. Also I'd imagine your spending a lot of time in your shed. :speechless: Someone's going to know your up to something.
