Well when they were allowed to “donate” “overages” shops were still technically illegal. Then the first wave of corperate med grows started. Now like 4 years later its all revamped again for rec. and caregivers (like always from the rules) can take “donations” from up to 5 patients and grow their 12 plants each.

Yeah..If it's a donation..Just try and deduct that from your income taxes..LMFAOYes, back then, when you asked how much that flower cost, the bud tender would say something like "for a donation of $35 an 1/8. I'd be thinking to myself, if its on a donation basis, then technically I have a choice to "donate" and the weed should still be free. The word "donation" was a spin to stay in line with the law, even though dispensaries were operating in a legal gray area.

Don't know about FL, but in CO, from what I understand, you can get approved for a higher plant count for certain conditions and or if you tell them you only consume it as edibles.I am waiting for the card, but not so I can go to a dispensary! Thought this was funny - I was talking to my brother, who is VERY supportive of the current administration and decries anything with the slightest whiff of socialism. When I asked him if he was going to send his stimulus check back - dead silence. LOL.It was interesting picking up on the capitalist, versus socialism debate currently going on. When I had my small business I could write off so many things and ended up paying less tax then when I was previously working for someone else. I know that the write-offs only got bigger and more imaginative as companies got larger and could afford professional accounting advice (crooks, without masks in white shirts)...effectively corporate welfare. Leaving the unsuspecting public to pick up that slack.
When its for the people, social safety net=bad, when the corp’s do it not paying any tax, have laws written to further enable their efforts, off shoring profits, globalization keeping wages low, and all the insider trading=good.
