You did a DIY cloner right? Is yours a DWC or an aero cloner? If its a DWC cloner i think you'd want the water level like 1/8"-1/4" below the rooters and if its an aero cloner then you would definitely want the water level way lower than the rooters.

I got the 1/8"-1/4" because cch2o recommends water level 1/4" below rockwool when you transplant into their system..

With Rockwool tho, that shit is freaking disaster waiting to happen if it doesnt dry out..
But the rooter is a lot more forgivable...

so I would keep my PH @5.9 for promix
just keep feeding I say
that is alot of castings to promix
I would only amend with 10lbs per bale
shit I dont use 60lbs with a 4'x15' bed

But now you see why I think them coco inserts would be bomb digity!
I beleive that a coco insert could stay wet AS LONG AS it had sufficient air bubbles

based on the numbers it is literally almost exact same numbers as Botanicare CNS17 Bloom
which I ran for years until I fell off the trax and stared messin with Maxibloom/Veg+Bloom
but I have been thinkin long and hard about goin back to CNS17
then I found these salts
ran through the calculator.....and a light went off
CNS17 that will last me for ever for the same price as 1 gallon of botanicare
that is
the Calnit+Hydro coco mix

and the awesome thing about a 2part salt
you can slowly drop the N during flower without having to switch to a bloom nutrient
you just cut the Calnit in half and you have a finishing formula

You're not a fan of bloom boosters or anything like that I take it

bloom boosters are a fraud
there are litterally like 1000 scientific papers about it
as a matter of fact
our plant only needs about 60ppm of P and 150ppm k for optimal growth
nothing more
when you use something like a booster you are shocking the plant into production
but studies have shown that it dosnt actually up production
the largest flowers I ever grew were with just Grow formula
the problem was to high of N and the plants started to get curl about week 4 of flower

that leads me to a formula where you can lower N but keep the P/K in correct range to lessen N tox but keep those #'s for optimal flower growth

Yea those coco things sound super legit, i will probably try them when i sprout my next pheno hunt.

I've seen people on youtube get a jar, put an airstone at the bottom, fill it with soil, then fill the jar half way up with water and the bubbler makes it so the plant doesn't get 'overwatered'.. I think as long as there is bubbles your pretty much good no matter what media.
