if your plants are growing fast and it is warm then you need to have a much lower ec do to how fast the plant is uptaking due to transpiration rates

my #'s are really for coco specific...not dwc
I would def lower it for uc system with intense light/CO2/warm enviro.....your plants are growing fast but more importantly how much water are they uptaking

I cant tell how much water they uptake.
I looked at roots..
They are so white, there was a BLM demonstration going on across the street...
Yep shouldnt added that 61 ml.
Instead i need to hook up res...
Run from that and watch meter...
I thinknyou are right and i need to lower Ec back to original spot...

dosnt the water level drop at all
that would show....here you go brother

do you have your ro hooked up to the system...i.e... the water level stays constant because as it lowers it states filled

if you.....the line that hooks the H2O to the system...put a flow meter in...they are like only a few bucks

that way you can actually see how much water they are intaking as opposed to nutrient uptake

The only 1/4” flow meter I could find was from hydrologic and it’s like 50$. I’ve found ones that go on regular hose threads for like 10$.. if you know of a cheaper 1/4” one can you throw up the link?

I seen Donna Brazil on today, George Popanopalous or how ever its spelled, was interviewing her.. I didn't know she had admitted to the question tampering with the DNC and news agency. She said she has apologised many times and some people just won't accept it...

Im gonna have to do the homework like he did tho with the UC,,
This could be painful!!!

The object here is to keep them alive lol as I learn...
I have had so many successes that I got to appreciate the situation...
But it gets worse as I have a problem entirely seperate from the grow.
My incoming water line that comes thru my basement wall is leaking,
ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL,
Which means i need to break out some of my wall,
and try to cut that pipe, and connect on to it with something..
I kind of need a professional to look at it and maybe do it...
The kicker,,,
Its in the grow room............................

Here is what I been doing.
I filled it up to right below RW, and let it ride a week.
I then turn the ro on and let it fill back up.
I do it thru the float valve so its always the same amount.
I then do bakers math on the add back.
I only added C17 back on the add back.
I just drained it as best I could.
Its refilling with RO right now..
Im gonna use the CC nutes.
I dont have there calmag
So i dont know whats gonna happen.
Running such low EC.

So I bought a 50 gal garbage can,
cut the hole out for the uniseal,
the hole is slightly to big for the uniseal...
WTF,,, Im trying to not let it get at me..
So im gonna try to order a bulkhead.
I want one with threads on outside and inside..
my hole is 1 3/8..
Frustrated a lil, but im trying to roll with the punches..

Ya If I dont kill them on accident first..
They had about 2 hrs of light then I shut them down and drained the system..
Its refilling now..
I shut down the Co2, and I turned off humidor. Dropped rh to 50 with lights off..
We will just relax these plants for the night...

So I tried to wretch the old copper pipe at an angle by the crack. I think ive slowed it down to a slow dribble.
Ordered a 3/4 double thread bulkhead. That should take care of that. 2 day shipping..
so lets just baby these girls the next few days and see if we can get back on track..
Whats killing me is im running with no ac since its to cold to work. but temps been good till last 3 days of warm weather but not warm enough for window AC to work...

the problem is you arent able to see how much H2O they are consuming
to me that is huge
to be able to see both the ec drop and H2O drop
those 2 correlate
if you dont have both figures you cant figure out when to up or lower ec
