I didn't start posting here until it was legal where I am. Too much to lose. I know I am not alone in that regard.

Everything is different now in terms of information flow. Should have been this way all along, but 🤷‍♂️

It wasn't until I was posting and getting challenged by better growers than me that things really started to fall in place. Reading a book only gets you so far. Feedback is an important part of the learning process.
Same here, I didn't join the forum until I had a personal ACMPR grow and was completely above board. Most of my growing knowledge came from making friends with other growers in the physical realm lol.. Moving to British Columbia in '99 was the turning point for my growing ability, people here were very open about growing pot and the genetics we had were top shelf. Everyone knew people who grew and despite being technically illegal, the growers here were very welcoming to new growers and happy to share techniques and help you pull off a good crop. I wasn't here a month before someone I had just met was helping me wire in a hot tub timer and sub-panel in the spare bedroom.

Did you keep the wedding crasher?

I played a lot of sports through my life from Baseball, Hockey, Golf, Tennis, Ping Pong, Cycling++++ and I hit more than 10,000 golf balls, ping pong balls tennis balls hockey pucks & cycling miles and although I became competent...an expert I was not........lol.......just saying....I am an expert smoker though That I have a certificate for........⬆️
Hours... 10,000 hours lol. I'm not an expert at much of anything lol... more of a Renaissance stoner type lol... I know a little about a lot of shit. 🤷‍♀️ I guess that's what advanced degrees are for... to learn a lot about one certain type of shit. 🤣

I grew my first plant circa 2002. Outside, started inside, maybe that's why I'm so set in my ways lol. Thankfully I had an expert in the physical realm, as dirtbag said lol. Learned a ton about all stages from him and ran with it. Learned a ton by doing. Made clones, sold clones, grew monsters, had mosters stolen (literally, swamp monster, aka duck foot to some, three leaf beast stinky dead skunk smelling shit. Legen... ...Dary lol.) Battled more pests than I can remember and the elements. Had plants straight up get eaten by mold in 2 weeks, or deer, or rabbits.
I've always had a green thumb and been gardening since I was little with my mom. Fuck ups really are the best teachers... but I still like to avoid them lol. My end result still improves every year. I adapt to this shit climate every year lol. This forum is amazing, it's like an oasis in the apocalyptic dessert that is the internet. 🤣

I grew for 20 years hiding in a small oil tank room with a 5ft 6" ceiling banging my head daily on ducting. I wasn't going anywhere for help and my grows were hit and miss. I really didn't have a clue.

Since faux legalization here in Canada I've been on here reading and learning almost daily.....Some of it had to rub off on me, I still have fk ups but I have a great place to ask for help when I need it.....
You would laugh if you saw the crazy hidden shit I did here because the wife was super uncomfortable with it in the house prior to it being legal. You know the crazy designs I come up with an actually implement? Multiply that stuff by 10 at least. You had to be a friggin hobbit to get in there.

What do you mean Faux? That you have limits? You are not under any risk are you?

Likely learned 80%+ about cultivating here at the Farm. Unfortunately I've managed to apply just shy of about 7% so far though. I can't even fkin water right and that is if get the water I'm feeding to be right. fml

Came to this forum not knowing shit. I have learned alot over the course of 1 1/2 grows. People like @Aqua Man have helped me tremendously. . I would have been lost without the help of this forum.
Long Live Aquaman..
I think he is on training his second generation of growers now. He's one of the ones that took my skills to another level too.

But man there are some greats on this forum. Soo many that aren't even here anymore. @BudGoodman @Milson @Kanzeon @Seamaiden @the list goes on and on. But we are still very privileged to have folks come back and see us like @Dirtbag up there. You ever seen that dude grow? Check out the crystal palace.

@TSD has got to be one of the best outdoor growers I have ever seen.

@Moshmen with his ability to do crazy good no matter what the hell the environment throws at him. He just takes whatever is given him and produces a steady stream of top shelf bud. On the coast in Florida. And somehow amazingly he doesn't get fungus.

@CannaGranny has forgotten more than most of us know about the way to read a plant and make it the best version of itself.

I think @GNick55 and @1diesel1 together have grown a sheer number of plants that by themselves = the last 1000 people to post on the forum combined. @BudGoodman was on that scale too.

If you are looking for a group of people above credentials, There is a good start to your list.

But man, there are so many more.

Edit I gotta add @Dr.Green55 for his knowledge of this plant and what it needs to thrive. This guy knows nutrients like I know peanut butter.

Yes faux we can legally only grow pot from legally obtained seeds. So unless the plants we grow were made from government approved seeds. I think there's 2 companies with about a dozen strains between them. its all illegal. We are allowed 4 plants in total per household size doesn't matter.....No buying pot other than in gov liqueur stores although they've lost that battle as the law is being flaunted by the Natives and an online group doing what they want...
