Tested the Ardent with 20 grams of MM and NS mix.The decarb took about an hour and a half I'm guessing.
I never smelled anything throughout the process and it was in the same room.Pretty amazing.
A friend of mine has been wanting to smoke a decarbed joint just to test potency.I agreed so we rolled one up.The decarb process did change the terpene profile some but they were still there.Believe it or not the taste was pleasant and flavorful,not what I had expected for sure.We smoked half and I put it out so I could wait and feel the difference as I know what smoking a half joint of Mama Mia does to me.This is where some might call bullshit but I'm now a believer.That decarbed shit hit both of us so hard,so quickly,it surprised the hell out of both of us.I haven't been that high in a long time and actually didn't want to be that high.Hell,I had just stopped over for a few and now had to drive home.Two hours later we were still soaring full bore.I left and went home,ate and 2 hours later still felt it.Super impressive but damn,maybe just one hit next time.Anyway,edibles are on and I'm also going to make an infused vodka.
Just to see what the Nov did to kief I decarbed a bit and in the pic you can see how it turned out.Hell,I'm scared to smoke that shit,lol.
I'll be using it in some edible soon.Ok,that wraps it up for now and if you were on the fence about dropping 2 bills on a decarb machine I can say with no reservation that it is well worth your investment.Along with the Magical Butter Machine I'm going to kill it.Thanks for dropping by!

Interesting decarb study DD. Never thought to smoke just used for edibles. Seems like you were considerably higher for longer with the decarb than your normal session?

I had read that with the Ardent it can make it seem 6 times more potent.Comparing the non decarb to the decarbed the decarbed was hands down much,much more potent with a minimal loss to terpene profiles.I'm just in awe of the difference though I got the Ardent mainly for edibles.I doubt I'll decarb just to smoke only because I want to taste all those terp profiles as fresh as I can get them.For my edibles though I have no doubt about them being top shelf.When I get the MBM next week it's going to be awesome in the kitchen.I already love to cook and have all my life so I'm going to CHEF out with the MBM! ;)

Hello farmers! Ok,week 1 in flower was this past Monday,updates will now be every Monday until harvest.
Ok so I'm 9 days into flower and very happy with how everything is doing.Growth with the NFTG is amazing as is how quick they jumped into flower.
I can see where I'm going to have a height problem but should be easily managed.I went a bit long on veg but hey,what can you do?
Today was flush day on the regimen.I used 10gal dechlorinated water with 2tbls per gal Herculean Harvest and 5ml per gal SLF-100.
Everything thus far is rolling smoothly and I have nothing but praise for NFTG.
I'm going to be adding a couple bottles to my regimen as soon as I pick them up.They will be:
Aphrodites Extraction
Mega Morpheus
Triton's Trawl
Persephones Palate
I feel that these additions will benefit flower and create more complex terpene's along with vibrant color.
Ok then,that's it for week 1 flower update.Thanks for dropping by,all input is appreciated!

Got my Magical Butter Machine today.Let the edible adventures ensue!
Good news today from the liquor store too! Picked up a half gallon 190 proof and can get it from there as needed.Nowhere else,and I do mean nowhere else had the 190.Thankfully the one I frequent does,here we go with tinctures and oils. :)

I will add that I had no lecithin but know that an egg yolk is equal to 1tbsp lecithin so I added 2 egg yolks. I read it had been done before so not worried about it. I have lecithin on order now for future use.

Decarbed with the Ardent/Nova/Lift. Will have to see about dosage as it was it was right at 36g herb and 3. something decarbed kief.

Ok,had 4 people test. A 1/4 brownie and everyone was nice and didn't want to chance another 1/4 so it's official.
Bottom line they are seriously potent brownies as they're only 2inx2in.(Maybe)

Good morning fellow farmers!
This is my weekly update where we're 14 days into flower.
Everything is going great aside from wrestling these girls about every other day,they are going crazy in the stretch.
I've introduced Bloom Kaos into the regimen so I will down have to bump up the Herculean Harvest a bit and possibly the Athens Aminas as well but for now just the Herculean.
After the last full feed I noticed some of the lower fans on the Candyland showed a slight deficiency.This is what bloom Kaos will do when you add it into your regimen without bumping the Herculean enough.It needs that calcium phosphate for everything to play nice.
I'm really happy with the way things are going and they are popping into flower so quickly,normally I don't have this much flower development so early on and a bit of frosting happening too!
So I'll make the adjustment to the feeding regimen and keep an eye on things.
