Oy.. You call that purple? Nah mate, this is a purple.
Purple plants were all the rage a couple years ago. This one was called G-code. Ok smoke, bizarre bag appeal. discontinued a couple years ago... Pictured here next to the bubba run I mentioned earlier started outdoors.

can u imagine: Samsung's hub, fridge... 4door, programmable temp... keep one for shed buildin, cerveca and they have the cams, so u know when ur low on plant, or beer... oh yeah! I'm sure they'll abandon it, like they f'd us on the 3d's. but it's definitely, got grow, potential. pull up nut n ph charts, on the screen, with bporn, on the pic in pic, corner... journal, scribbling... i can c it all, now... i need to change my sho/artz.

never seen anything like it, clinic, or in person. that's art, man! i wasn't growin, or smokin, round 2016... i don't... well, not the second half, when kidschool, let out. i missed EVERYTHING!!!

I've killed pre98 & bubba... never got beyond the clinic's, leftover nutes. inert, soil... oops! ohhh... if only. looks like a 20+er...% wise. ?

She was a beaut. I only keep really tasty, top shelf strains long term though. It had to go as pretty as it was.

Damn.. This is pre-98 Bubba kush. This cut is God knows how old, been around my neighborhood since mid 00's anyway.

And percentage wise it's a wierd one. It's only about 17-18% thc, but it just knocks you on your ass far harder than other strains I have that are 20+%. My grower friends who know a lot more than me believe it's because of the myrcene content that is off the charts.

that the erurotrash, site? thought it was seedsman. i know one of ed's, shows the terp charts. i should take a gander, for myrc, strainz. i was thinkin, seedsman's filter had terp targeting, filters; not so much... saw this n thought: shoulda had dirtbag, finish it ;D ... i had to wonder, whether there wasn't some oops, damage, prior to, such as heat, but i couldn't b sure.

I have only tried purple weed a few times. But grape ape, gd purps and another were tasty but weak.

But one friends outdoor plant from a blue dream seed turned completely purple and was a one hit wonder weed. No clones taken that year sadly.

For me top shelf weed smells and tastes outstanding, has a long lasting and complex high, and to be truly top shelf it should also look good, but that's personally my least important factor. Taste and smell are number 1 for me, with effect a close second.

And i guess its gonna be relative too. My weed is only top shelf in my world lol... I have smoked pot in the past which I believe is probably out there somewhere still, that's better than what I've got. What I really mean to say I guess is, I only keep the best of the plants that I come by. They go on my top shelf lol.

Next run I'm going to use pbp hydro bloom from mid flower on I think. This run using pbp grow and a bit of massive bloom I was getting potassium deficiencies in late bloom that I wasnt able to correct by using more massive. I think I need to have that N dropped back a bit by week 6 or so in order to boost the K levels without overdoing the EC and building up unused nutes. I'll also cut calcium back a bit sooner too, around week 5 to try and help with K uptake.

hey, d... i was thinkin u could verify ur theory about beta m... with a sweaty wadd of cash and a few gram/spleaf, trip to ur best, local clinic. gimme a paypal, or otherwise n I'll spring for half of 6 samples, with n without, just to hear ur observations. u been smokin, longer than i been alive so... worth it to me, to share in the gold, of ur findings.
i hate most of my clinics n am so permeated, with oil, i usually just smoke, for tast, burn test and a pat on the back, or..."f! should've flushed, longer!"... it takes alot, for me to feel much, from smokin n that means zip, far as quality of the bud; i just don't feel it. but if that counts as something, illegal (prolly), or against site rules... "doods! i was totally, kidding!"...

maybe in some locales. suspect you'll get the phonebook, in responses: marketing, supply, demand... marketing- bag appeal, "buzz", hype... "thc" & whatever cannabinoid is currently, n the news/marketing, trophies, etc, inclusive.
dirt/ditch weed, entirely processed, right, seed to stoned... can beat, any top shelf, handled, poorly soooo... and you'll c videos about same strains, by 8+ diff growers, being entirely, diff... explains, plenty.
i get just as disappointed, in top shelf, as i do, the bottom... 1 dispensary, only, that I've been to: excluded n this.

i just fought that same battle, through an entire, rotation; possibly 2. i feel for u. easier said than done, n my case.

cat... see the structure, on d's second shot, there? u been doin this, what... 30-40 yrs, dirtbag? i bet if you'd taken ur pick, laterally, like d did... it'd look real similar, if not, denser, on those tops of yours... c what i mean? lightyears, from typical, first time, grow.
and if you'll notice, his look, breathtaking ;D... no doubt, top shelf strainz... and he's still, disappointed. i dunno if it's same for all of us, but I'm the same way- every oops... is what i c, when i judge my own stash.

Agree! I was going to say that top shelf is a dispensary label for whatever they think they can get the most money for at the time.

I grow for quality and never on a schedule. Any flower i produce tends to be better than any “top shelf” weed at the stores i have been to.

I am starting to actually hate “legal weed” and all the rip off products it has spawned.

I better smoke a nice home grown flower. ;-)

Lol. Welcome to hydro. Lifeless deficient medium.

And you know the plant needs calcium way past week 5. And nitrogen.

Maybe the massive blocked out your potassium? The ratio was fine with pbp grow.

even now, one tank is uber nitro, deficient... i even know y... doesn't matter: I'm still pist. had diff strains n same tank. some, held N, more easily, than others n it's oooh too easy, to dose em up, with what i got goin on.

yeah... i looked at the trio, grow n called b.s. my girls need N, yesterday, so to speak and the micros/macros/whatever... have it n spades so we will c what we will c. personally, I'd like to have a bottle of salt, for ea. nutrient, but I'm not confident enough, to use the methods, most of the peeps n this room, do.by my hand, so to speak... is what I'd prefer, but i know I'd b tuggin at coattails, over oopses n constantly, freakin n goin straight to my picture books!
