yeah, this is definitely the first 'hard' trim after the screen went in. I got a lot of the lower branches that would never make it to the screen initially in the first pass. Hope to have it done entirely tonight. Ran out of energy drinks and steam last night...
Now that they have settled in a bit and found their place in the screen, I'll go about cleaning the suckers up on the regular.
I can do the bath thing on the veg system, but once that screen is on in flower, they aren't moving.
No more vegging monsters! From the looks of the veg system last night, they will be ~18" - 22" by the time they are ready to go in to Room 2. That should give me enough room under the screen to work, but I won't have to hack full branches off that are the size of decent veg plants.
Just need to finish up room 2 now. I picked up 'Big Kahuna' reflectors for that room and these things are ~50# each. Having an issue with how I was going to do the lights. Steel cable! Problem is there are no studs in one wall, and I can't 'reliably' find ceiling joists, if they exist at all. <old building, who knows whats there..> I ~think~ I can go across the room vs lengthwise and tie a 2x4 support in to studs in those walls. I am planning on adding a steel rod down the length of both reflectors to hang them from, so pulleys/ratchets are only on the ends vs having 4 to adjust, as I can't really reach the inner ratchets once the screen goes on.
Thanks for the help with that TG. Definitely be hitting you up.
I will get it sorted.
Other changes...
Going to add in a faucet valve on the top-off line so refills go faster in the future. I don't want to drag hoses around if I don't have to. I think I would like to run a drain line to each room too, but need to figure out a good way to do that on a single line through all three rooms without 'backflow' to the other systems, I suppose just shut off valves...
