They work ridiculously well mines over a year old and air out the duct smells phresh and clean still!
you just tape the fan to the filter to seal it?
I sunk the little screws in to keep it together and more level.
I also wanted to mention I'm up to 900 ppm with my fertilzation schedule now, them seem to be handling it very well. I've been adding the silica too, along with a bump up of cal/mag to retard some of the minor leaf crinkling.
The wife is also complaining about the early smell- the Phresh filter arrived just at the right time.
Lol...... it better or there will be non stop complaining. We’re also having a lot of work done in the house and I’m tired of making spaghetti sauce from scratch (very smelly with all the garlic To hide the smell).
Everyone ones room is different and everyone has a different experience with PPM, but for me personally in sunshine or even the VPW420 i'm using now I'm anywhere from 1000ppm to 1300ppm, that week or so before flower and to the end, anything under a 1000 and I can see the slow in growth and anything over the 1300ish maybe a bit more I see the negative effects. but I even find early on I'm 400-600 pretty quick.
Yes without question, some strains don't like as much, for me the vast majority is 1000 to 1150/1200 I have a couple like going a bit higher to 1300 and I have 1 that likes to top out around 900For me, it's all strain specific......... some can handle it, others can't. Sativa's tend to be more sensitive to higher ppm's.
I'm more of a minimalist when I grow and keep things as low as I can to insure healthy growth. Too much fertilizer can lead to issues with your medium, among other things. So, I try to give them just enough and no more than that. You can always go higher if need be. Better safe than sorry........ but that's just me.
