Where I am cfls are approx. $15 per 42w, and then the smaller bulbs they sell in bargain packs and ive picked up 6-23w bulbs in a pack for $20. the 42w cfls give off around 2700lumens and the 23w are about 1600lumens. sockets are cheap and quick IMO, ive liked using clamps with splitters on the end, but clamps are around $10-$15 each.

i plan on upgrading the small ones, and if i can, hang some verticle inbetween if i can affor it, after this grow i maybe change to hps, or make a new bos one for flower, one for veg.
end of the day long as i get some weed out of this ill be happy

Hey Man. Hows things going. Seems like the girls are all starting to stay in the swing the way a lady should!

I picked up some clip on CFL sockets in Heatons today. 4euro a pop. Im finding them great for supplemental lighting for my mothers. I have one clip on to each side of the pot! and even one clip onto a branch! :D They might interest you.

haha yeah i looked myself a while ago, couldnt find any without ordering ordering over the net and i dont like to do that for that stuff. Thought a few Y connectors probably wouldnt of raised an eye brow!

Heres those things.

I have 5 of them lighting my mothers. I like being able to easily and completely move my lights around, i find any lights nailed to a wall is useless and pulleys only good for the top! I plan to glue a few lengths of wood around the room. A few of those simple metal hooks pushed into them and walla, easily will support these lights. The clamp on them is quite tight! A bamboo stick in the pot and a light attached would even do the trick!

fyi, Homebase diy were doing a sale on 100watt CFL for 1 euro each a few days ago. Might still be on!

Save a few cuts of your AK47 i hope. heard that was some real nice stuff. might trade ya some in the future! keep up the good green work!

ya wasnt around last night so dont know if the seed broke yet, should of by now, ill check after work, indeed those lights look the job, being able to move em in real close and where the plant needs rocks.
will have to try pick some up asap, gonna switch to hps for my next grow after this, hopefully in a tent so i can keep this box for clones/veging, will gladly give you a clone if its good smoke man

theyre not 100w. theyre 100w incadescent equilivant. which basically means if you had a lamp with a 100w regular bulb you'd buy this cfl to replace it. i think its actually 23w...

Yeah I know. Over here where jagle and me are from we just commonly say its incandescent equiv as most homes still use incandescent so saying 23watt would just confuse things. Incs are on the way out due to EU regs so maybe soon! and nobody expects to see a 100watt draw CFL in a standard light fitting like the one i post.

@Jagle, these can handle up to 60watt draw, my 23/100watt cfls work fine in them!

so its the end of 5 weeks on 12/12 tonight, start of week 6, tho id say 3 weeks of flower and starting week 4. give them 2 weeks as a transition period when there wasnt much other then small pistils showing.

so i have some pictures.

First of the Ko Kush that is storming ahead, lots of lovely bud sites, and starting to smell lovely.

then t1 picture of one of the killing fields which are starting to do well, some nice sativa stretch on them.

And lastly my Jackberry, i recently repotted her but as you can see she is very stunted growth, has always been this bad, very annoying cant figure out why

they look bomb man, but I'd say that 2 week transition period is actually part of the flowering. as far as im concerned once you switch to 12/12 you're in the flowering, it's just not buds poppin right away, but still in the flowering period.

keep up the bomb work. what kind of fertilizers are you using?

im using Canna Terra Flores, feed/water/feed/water cycle, giving full recommended strenght at the moment and the girls are loving it.
hope to get some big bud in there next week too, and molasses too
