Very true. Like I said, I 'm going back to look at the pix.
Still 100w can only put out so much....
No it can only put out so much light over an area and that becomes more concentrated as the light is closer. You can easily hit 1000ppfd with a 10w cfl over a very small area. Watts are absolutely irrelevant
 
It's a 100w fixture. I did not see light stress. I saw root issues. They've been transplanted.
I have to look again to see the light stress.

May we have new pix please?

I replanted them and 2 gallon air pots and happy frog and organic soil mixture

Put the tape away πŸ˜‰ measure the intensity not the distance. I understand that's how things used to be done but it really is not a good practice in today's time and the tools available.
Right. I get it. I had this same conversation from your side before. I'm just looking for holes.
 
Like I said, I don't see any light issues. But I will meet somewhere towards the middle. Set your light 4 inches higher and do nothing else to the plant. Lets see it again tomorrow.
That's probably about right... personally I feel to little light is a far less harmful place to start is all.. then slowly work up.
