No it can only put out so much light over an area and that becomes more concentrated as the light is closer. You can easily hit 1000ppfd with a 10w cfl over a very small area. Watts are absolutely irrelevantVery true. Like I said, I 'm going back to look at the pix.

Right. I get it. I had this same conversation from your side before. I'm just looking for holes.Put the tape awaymeasure the intensity not the distance. I understand that's how things used to be done but it really is not a good practice in today's time and the tools available.
Push em if ya like I'd start at 20k and slowly increase 3-5k each few days to a week and watch.I replanted them and 2 gallon air pots and happy frog and organic soil mixture

That's probably about right... personally I feel to little light is a far less harmful place to start is all.. then slowly work up.Like I said, I don't see any light issues.
