Sop that's her as of last weekend. She get's a flush today and then it's flush week, maybe 10 days :D thanks to your help man she has come through like a damn champion!!

Hey man, just finished the flush and put her on a very light nute regime of base nutes and sugar rush for the last week. Looks like she's ripening from the bottom up too :) She smells like sweet berries now and to be honest its smelling out my house lol. Can't wait for her to finish now :)

You'll work out the XL trick after a couple of runs, but the burnt tips won't spoil the product so don't worry ;) Shes producing some nice colours now, the swell is taking effect nicely, i think a flush is a nice idea, if things slow down too much and she lays dormant, it maybe too early and bump it up if you want with some suga rush and swell. ;)

I'd say you've done an absolute awesome job for your first hydro flowa run! You won't be able to stop laughing once you inhale that good first toke! I'm glad you picked everything up so easily, and yeah the XL is a difficult product to ace, and i still get it wrong from time to time! but i guess my ph level, and use a certain amount of drops each time, so i know its going to fall in close to the mark, i guess you could say i have a visual ph meter lol. very rarely will i pull out the meter. I have a tri-meter stashed away that i haven't even used as the input plug is wired wrong, and its not the sort of thing i want to show the average electrician! i won't risk electric shock either so i'm waiting on a mate and then i should have some nice readings without having to do much at all.

Here i have the Amster Gold at day 18! things are flying along and now i MUSN'T touch her until its time to clone!! I keep telling myself off as i need her to get taller, but in the last 2 days she's grown more than 5 inches thats including tying her down. I just couldn't help making more of those merry tops! all without needing to tip anywhere :) but thats not to say i won't i just didn't want an early stress time hindering my veg growth. I want to see how much the Amster can yield in ideal conditions, and this will also involve modifying my intake system once again, but its a little surprise and don't want to give too much away just yet. But i will be using some screens, i just don't have a definite answer yet. Amster's a heavy girl and i know these colas are going to be scary!

I was just choppin a sesh, and i happen to think of you guys!! :) I had to share this with all of you, as just before hitting these with the snips, i thought..... wow, it almost looks like edible candy! So i took some macros up close in the dark using LED lighting, it really brings out the shine in the nugs. I'm still in awe even after a few weeks i still fins myself looking through the buds, and pulling little leaves off, and smelling them all over again!

Enjoy my bud porn! Amster gold is going beautifully, depending on how i feel shortly i will take some update shots, the XL has been applied, and i got the PH level perfect by the looks!! :)

They are nice aren't they!, but with all seriousness, they are the last usually picked for a sesh, as mrs flowa and i noticed that they are damn right knockout potency, easily the most potent i've ever grown, and i could even nearly go as far as saying the STRONGEST i've ever smoked! :dead: I know it just sounds alot of 'talkitup' but its insane. Goes down beautifully, taste and all, then just as you go to pass the bong back or put it down, you get the first gentle cough........ followed by a full intense thumping wheeze to get a breath, and it keeps kicking you..... and kicking you, until you have sweat down the sides of your nose, and you feel massive hot flushes go through your body, followed by the most visually distorted acid type stone its remarkable. That hits fast to, before you think to yourself, do i need another one? you realize you can't get up... in fact someone else may have to pack it for you!! While remembering not to hold the bong too long, and pass out just coming onto number 2. Seriously i've never had erb where one is ENOUGH. I could goto sleep 10 minutes after i got up if i wanted to! This Amster Gold puts you in the fetal position with your thumb in your mouth LOL just kidding with the thumb :p But if you close your eyes after 1 good pull........ don't get up to drive anywhere thats for sure! I wish i could get it tested!! i haven't even touched the GOLDEST of Amster's primos yet! ;) they just look plain dangerous. cured to rock hard candy buds! they sparkle..... oh do they sparkle

I really don't think i can put it down to one particular thing, but yes i did use my UVB lamp, and i actually see a significant increase in leaf vigor while using it, i definitely see the increase in something!!!??? I'm going to buy another!! :) I used it for less time last run, so i'm varying things around a little.... She also has 1200 watts blazing on her for an extra 3hrs a night ;) But mostly just the 1 600 HPS, i didn't expect this kind of strong couch SINK feeling!! i have to be careful not to smoke if im about to do something important. :p

Crankin the other 600 for about 6 hours during night time :) Pumpin her with 1200 watts + The UVB. AAAAAAAND!!!! i gota say, the growth under the UVB lamp is most impressive showing beautiful purple colours through the stems of leaves, This is true signs of a good healthy plant, the purple is actually natural enzymes produced by the plant itself and ONLY under the right lighting conditions. The purple colour starts with x...... i forget the exact word but this is actually a natural insect repellent. I've only ever seen this when people use a good brand MH lamp, or with UVB. I seriously believe the UVB lamp has ALOT to do with her massive growth speed and vigor, added with the dual spectrum agro bulb and the red HPS, i'm targeting all corners of the suns spectrum, so hopefully gaining improvements not normally found in the average hydro garden ;) i have to say this is the most impressive growth i've had in veg for a while.
