So of course before I take any action I consult my buddy Ed for guidance, Ed seems to be on the fence in regards to the final flushing and almost seems to be leaning towards my thoughts on the matter, that bein its a bunch of baloney cooked up by a bunch of hippies that must live organically drivin lives in all matters regardless of actual proof that, again, its a bunch of baloney. I will not risk blowin this grow over a process that recent studies show is ineffective and unnecessary. I have been very light handed with the nutes on this grow and the benefits are obvious, moving forward I am gonna continue with a common sense approach to growin and not try to “make” the plants grow by dumping copious amounts of unnecessary nutrients on them, therefore rendering the final flush an unnecessary mistake I will never make again
There are a multitude of flushing methods, but they share a common goal: to remove most of the nutrients available to the roots, thereby encouraging the plant to use the non-assimilated salts and nutrients still remaining in the plant.
