Did I mention how much I hate havin plants in winter? 35% humidity and I had the heat on 55 so I bumped that up and got a humidifier goin, trics aint there yet I am hopin a lot of progress is made in the next few days Saturday will be 11 weeks and I might go ahead and chop em unless the weather improves, I really wanna wrap things up and be done with it for a while

Yeah my heat in house came on also. Messed up rh. Had to put humidifier back to work. Dried out the soul much quicker. Oil heat furnace. Plants a little droopy, but i think i caught em just in time.

The clones are hangin I chopped em early this mornin, here is the runt, the entire plant, I love growin pot

The dreaded trim is underway, not too bad I can really see the trics flyin in the sunlight so I’m gonna let em dry some before I do any more if at all plus I’m doin nothin with the humidity so they are gonna stay in one piece. Might chop up the trimmings and try my hand at makin some coconut oil

I am really impressed with the clones, they are gonna be a considerable addition to the stash. Kinda glad I don’t have anything under lights now. This is by far my best grow yet I am thrilled. Hangin out on here and studyin, doin things wrong, fixin things I did wrong, tryin new things, gettin comfortable with things that made me uncomfortable. Listening to people, ignoring people, thats why I can do it on my own now, but I like comin here. Pot is better with friends

Preppin for some decarb/coconut oil infusion. 2 ounces of clean, screened trim from last years Bubba Kush plant. Since its so finely screened I’m gonna run the oil through a couple of coffee filters and if necessary a cheesecloth.

Well its under way, the best way I found to maintain 220f was to use my big flat cast iron griddle with the gas burner off to one side and move the beaker closer or further from the hot spot till I found the “sweet” spot, and I’ll be monitoring closely to keep it as 220f as I can. I did notice that the the bubbles occured most at between 210 and 220 on my thermometer. This seems to be about precise temperature control which is not easy usin a gas stove and a cast iron fryin pan as they are not exactly laboratory gear. But I’m tryin, we’re all tryin

In case you were wondering coffee filters are a no go too fine the oil just slowly drips, forgot where the cheesecloth is so I ran it through a paper towel in a wire strainer, seemed to do the trick. Took bout an hour and a half for bubbles in the the concoction to cease. Lost a little oil to my filtering experiments and what is left in the “coffee grounds” not much though. Damn right theres a measured tablespoon in my 4 oclock cup of coffee gotta guage it somehow

That is a dark looking brew... brave man to take two tablespoons of what might otherwise reseal your driveway.

How did it turn out?

It cooled to a nice green, doesen’t taste too bad, just woke up so a big ol chunk in my coffee without havin smoked anything will tell the story

4 days hangin, the runt has lost about 3/4 of the original weight at choppin so its time to go into a jar
