Trimming seems to be the least favorite part of this process... I dried at 50%RH for 7 days, trimmed, then jarred with hygrometer/thermometer sensors and they're sitting at around 53% for a couple days at 72 degrees... I'm going to burp daily and dump them to air a little once a week... The first moist toke was a smooth one with a real creeper buzz...

I was just gettin gettin ready to post exactly the same thing down to the sampling, mine was a couple tiny popcorn buds of the Green Crack, nice creepy buzz

Doin the dance, I don’t mind I have some practice with this method, open the jars, close the jars, dump em all in the bins and give em a good airin out. Its all about slowly separating the h2o molecules from the resinous molecules we want to stay behind. The wake and bake sample of Green Crack made for a nice mornin, the fruity taste is comin around and it hit very smoothly

8 weeks tomorrow, 3 more weeks? ANOTHER MONTH? They are gettin a little top heavy cept for the runt may have to do a little circus riggin soon. Aint touched a leaf on em, they’ve been outside a lot till they started to flower good, spent a month 4 feet from the lights in the floor beside the tub, and have been moved dozens of times. Now they trynna get all like “hey baby you like big buds and cannot lie?” “Come sniff dis baby” So demeaning they think they’re hot shit, cept the runt shes cool

I already had cases of mason jars. Gonna shit can all my old bovida packets I have rehydrated them at least once. I still have a bunch of Bubba left its a year and 7 months in the jars but smokes like it always did. I think a major thing is don’t let em get too dry too fast your buds will turn to dust

Not mine thankfully, I help out a few people besides on here, mostly friends I don’t know. Lotta Virginia noobies tryin to grow outside are about to find out about bud rot, dastardly shit that sets in the day before you plan on choppin and goes straight for the prettiest buds. I warned em not to let em get wet or feed em after midnight but some people just gotta touch that pretty red stove eye before it really hits home

A tasty little sample of the Green Crack, the nuggets clean up nicely and even though its still curin I have learned to take only a couple of hits then give it a little wait

The drop in humidity has sped up things in the dry/cure division a little. My high tech spidey senses have indicated the nuggets have reached an acceptable level of moisture to allow longer periods between openin the jars for a little sniff and rustle, when I handle a bud I listen close to the sound, its not crunchy like walkin on very dry leaves it has more of a soft rustling sound like fresh fallen leaves that haven completely dried yet. The 58% bovida packets are in the jars now and my mason jar vacum sealer attachment for my foodsaver came so I am experimenting with a few jars and will probly vacum seal all of them. The heavy duty boxes the jars come in are perfect for storage, no sunlight, just stack em in a cool dark place

I finally summoned up the courage to give the trics a good look on a few samples, could have went a tad longer but a respectable amount of amber and that will increase with time in the jars so no real “shoulda waited longer” regret. The smells are sweet and things are gettin tastier by the day. I have bout puff tested myself into plastic doodoo land

Well the clones are chuggin right along despite my all but completely ignorin them, pots are nice and moist despite bein several days since they got anything so a few pics and a smooch or two is all I did in the still goin garden. 9 weeks tomorrow wonder how long I should keep me in suspense, 12 weeks? Three short weeks to go gonna need some more Boveda packets and probly somebody to help me smoke a bunch of weed, which is gettin better every day when I open the jars my eyes almost water and its kickin my ass two tokes and I’m done

I can see me growin a bunch like this if I can find some really unique seeds I wanna use sparingly, I want somethin with lots of colors

2 weeks since the chop, was smellin a little hayish mixed with terpentine and the sugar leaves were very flexible so its time to air things out again for a little while till I get my crusty shell back then return to the jars to further mellow

I guess there’s such a thing as bein a bit too frugal. After the air out and return to the jars there was debris left in the big pans, not a lot enough to roll a big one, it was mostly leafy bits, lots of brown hairs and some little leaf stem. I’m packin bowls, shit is rough but I hit it a few times, then it dawned in me I have much, much better, kinda feel stupid, shit canned the remainder of the tray trash

This is literally the third time I've tried to reply to this post. I don't want to alarm you guys but I think marijuana might have a short-term impact on your memory, or maybe even an impact on your short-term memory.

Old habits die hard and I'm right there with you on that. I'm a huge fan of edibles and have dabbled in making my own, but to this day the idea of risking a half ounce of weed to the decarb and extraction process is terrifying because a half ounce is a lot of weed man! If all goes well I'll have many halves to choose from, but I guarantee you that subjecting any of them to the debarb and extraction process will be just as scary this time around.

Even if you don't smoke the "debris" again I don't see any harm in honoring the impulse and where comes from. That's what keeps the wastefulness that comes with abundance at bay.
