I use real growers recharge and am pretty happy with it. Literally goes on everything, seedlings clones veg flower it don't matter lol. Good stuff and I think I got it for $20 a lb or so. Lasts a while.

Basically great white but cheaper.

Im way down. Ill ask my local shop about it. I dump that stuff as well as great white in every watering now. Im 100% down to source the stuff cheaper

To be honest I'm considering no more additives with the ACT, it's doing the same thing for me.

@gardnguyahoy I just checked my source and it looks like the price on recharge just went up. I may run through my last few containers of it and stop using it. Get my own powdered humic and fulvic and just culture my own beneficials.

They spent 3 weeks in there. Roots organic soil unammended. Nothing but water and recharge, fed once 2 days ago with aact.

I just think it's pretty nice to have something from seed to jar in 3months on their own while your vegging your photos.

Once you have separate veg and flower up and running you get a harvest every couple of months depending on what you're growing. From that perspective it's a little quicker turn around and you have more potent weed. When I first started growing, autos were all I grew, my cousin too, after a while I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to make the switch to photoperiod plants. It drove me nuts that I was putting all that time into growing something that didn't have the power I was looking for. I've heard they've gotten better, one reason I'm trying this one, just to find out for myself but, I'd never switch back. There was some that my cousin was growing back then that were pretty nice, real frosty, nice smell and flavor but, every time you smoked it there was that one important aspect missing.... potency!

Didn't want too much light to the root zone. I don't buy small containers because I just cut them off at transplant time so I like to use plastic crap I have around the house in an effort to "recycle". Duct tape isn't perfectly light proof but as you can see the roots are still happy.

Also I will say mitten that your plants are generally prettier than mine so it doesn't surprise me your roots are prettier too. I'm not a greenhorn per se but I'm definitely always learning still.

I was gonna say you have the added benefit of lower root resistance in coco ;) still a soil man myself.

I have actually put a lot of thought into switching back over to soil the last couple years. I used soil when I started growing, went to about all different types of hydro, then promix. All time favorite for growth and consistency is rock wool drip fed.
