Nice job.
Thanks. That air compressor is a 1977 Saylor beale made right here in good old michigan and is one of the few American compressor companies still in buisness. It was in service at a diesel repair shop before I bought for more than 30 years before I bought it for 200 bucks basically scrap value and have a total of 700 bucks in it. They still make the same model and sell it for over 5 grand. It will probably out live me.

In my grow thread? Lol
I thought about starting my own thread but for some reason am more comfortable with photo bombing other people's but I would be honored to clutter your thread as well

Nooooooo! That's where grow pics go!!! Here have some pics from my hike today.

Cool man I work on Quincy most of the time. But we still service a few of those old ones still in operation for HVAC control air.

I'm pretty familiar with the older quincy pressure lube pumps and qr-25 have rebuilt a couple of those. Just internals to get them going again never a full restoration. I have some weird quirks and old American compressors is one of them. I have another saylor beale 707 pump and a quincy I got for free out of an old barn that is one of the first they made in the 20s . I contacted quincy to try to identify the model and sent pics , they said it was one of the first compressor they made and wanted to know if I'd sell it. I'll restore it one of these days, I have a guy up north that machines parts that are no longer available. Old Saylor beale and quincy are the only ones I'm interested mainly Saylor beale because they are from here and quincy sold out to atlas-Copco and I know longer consider them an American company. For something that is just a Hobbie I've learned a lot about these companys.
