Hmmm, 1650 PPM's... @ 0.5 conversion or 3.3 EC? Maybe I really need to up my CalMag... How much per gal are they getting or are you not giving them any with this new nutrient regiment? :wondering
I am giving them 6ml per gallon of
CalMag this week (6). 5ml next week 7, 4ml week 8 and 3ml at the last week9. I am cutting my nutrient schedule back by 1 week as I can see that these guys will be finished by week 9. If they go any further it will be on water only...
I really think that any more than about 8ml
CalMag is too much as I have seen negative effects in my other grows from doing this. I am sure I am wrong though, since I don't understand how all these things come together like you do.
I just know so many big time old school growers out there who just don't really have a clue what they are doing, but keep getting excellent results. These guys don't necessarily have a social life, but they easily could with their lapse attitude toward their plants. I want to balance their experience against the information I get here on THCF so that I can be a balanced THCFarmer. I am so thankful for the efforts of guys like you who really push the limits of what's known or accepted, to really see what's under the hood. This allows me sooooo much more freedom than without this information!
My mother, for her birthday got me a great little book, "The Book of General Ignorance", which brings up much commonly known information in the world. This book takes this known information and proves with fact that this information is WRONG. People hate to be rooted and told everything they know is wrong, but it's amazing how much information we are fed by agenda or ignorance. This books give so many examples of this, it's really funny and often a bit scary too!
Here are a few of the rooting questions:
Who invented the telephone?
Nope, not Alexander Graham Bell, but rather Antonio Meucci, who got sick and was unable to enforce his patent.
Who is America named after?
Nope, not Amerigo Vespucci, but a wealthy merchant, Richard Ameryk
And in honor of this crop, What's special about the birth of Julius Caesar?
Nothing, he was not born caesarean and his mother did not die in his birth. Caesar in Roman is pronounced, Kaiser and means King. Caesar salad was invented in Mexico.
Lastly 'cause the French are so hospitable, where was Champagne Invented?
Again, not where you'd think, but rather England. France didn't get Champagne perfected for 200 years.
