Thanks Meeks. GreenCure® is a potassium bicarbonate-based fungicide and baking soda is Sodium Bicarbonate. Does anyone know the difference?

I picked some GreenCure yesterday. I mixed 1.5 tablespoons to 1 gallon of RO water. I also added a 2ml of hygrozyme into the mixture. The guy at the hydro store suggested it. The mixture came out to 8.5. Perfect!

I aggressively sprayed the plants, the floor, and the walls too. Although, I might not have given the plants enough time before the lights came back on. They had maybe 45 minutes, but I don't think it was ample time, because the plants looked a bit cooked. All of my hairs look darker and the leaves didn't seem happy. I decided to turn my light down to 600 watts. I'll turn them back up tonight when I go in.

I did another major trim last night. These things are so damn bushy! I only found a few affected leaves. It was very minor. They were all bottom leaves around the edge of the tray. Unfortunately, I still have a lot trimming ahead of me.

I raised the temp to 75 night and 80 day. My humidity has 40-50%. Although, it did climb to 58% while I was in there spraying yesterday.

I'll take some pictures tonight and post some updates tomorrow,

Sticky, What's the deal with Sulfur burners? I have heard they are best used early on in the grow. I am at day 42 right now. Did I miss the window?

What belt are you- BJJ? :)

No worries, I do the same thing with most threads too-lol. Thanks for the kind words, I am at day 42. My last GDP crop went 71 days. This harvest won't take as long. If I were a betting-man, I would guess 65 days.

There is always time to thin. It never ends with GDP… I actually thinned my other tray last night and need to finish the tray in the picture tonight. It's looking a lot better and the humidity has been WAY lower since the big under-trim this weekend. I'll post some "upskirts" pictures tonight.

I was trying to keep my room hella cold to promote the purps, but instead, promoted Mildew. Ah snap!

Welllllllll… My plants are looking a little fried. Not bad, but they're no longer in pristine condition. I'm bumbed, because the grow was going killer up until this point. I think my spray mixture was WAY too strong. The bottle I used was labeled, "1.9L" which presumed was just under 2 liters.:sign0065: I found the problem today when was washing the bottle with other measuring containers and realized the bottle was just over a liter?

Dammit…:brokenheart

sorry to hear that. You have to be careful dosing that green cure, it took a tole on the condition of my pistils too, when i used it in late flower. I'm sure the grow will still be a great success with you working hard to keep it healthy.

Thanks meeks. Although, my luck has gotten worse. I unplugged 1 tray to work on the manifold and forgot to plug it back in. I lost 4 plants. I put 18 plants in each tray. BUMMER!

I got my clones from a reputable club in San Jose and I vegged em for three weeks. For my next run I want to get Ken's GDP, directly from the source...

Thanks Nugz. Yeah I am relieved that only 4 plants were lost, because the entire tray was unplugged. Things could have been a lot worse. Hopefully, I can make 20-25 more days without killing anymore plants. LOL

Damn that sucks sorry to hear that. I recently expierenced some problems aswell with stem rot on my Grape Ape & Lavender. Almost same issue trying to get my girls to blush for me. I was brining in to much cold humid night air. Too much condensation in the air. A few of my tops got stem rot. NO BUENO! I ended up hacking them down 10 days premature....:( I use to have powder mildew issue's in the past until I fixed my night time HVAC issue's. My problem was I did not have enuff air exchange. I ran a sealed room and at night that hurt me. So during lights on it's a sealed room & when lights go out it's vented with exhaust & fresh air intake. Once I did this I have yet to see PM. *knock on wood*.....But Nice nuggz

Paperplane, Thanks for checking in and great name! I'm convinced that my fundamental problem was the foliage under the nets. This was my first "Rock Star" Scrog grow but the problem was, my canopy was so thick and I needed to trim EVERYTHING under the net. Before, my humidity was reaching 66% at night for over a week. Now, after the MAJOR trim the humidity hasn't gone over 49% and that's with the same dehumidifier.

All I can say is, Nextime… LOL. The next grow will always be better. I say this after every grow. haha.

I like the idea of having a sealed room during the day for co2 and venting at night.

Right on man. I say post the good and the bad. We are here to help, not to laugh at someone who is putting it out here to learn better ways to garden. Sometimes posting your biggest problems lets you learn the most.

Don't worry. I bricked two batches here for everybody. Live and learn. Now I just had two awesome runs back to back. Good stuff man.

Keep up the good work.

Sup Farmers, I am still fighting the battle. Right now, the mildew hasn't gotten worse, although I have been finding sporadic mildew on fan leaves under my trellis. I have been picking off all of the fan leaves underneath just to ensure it doesn't spread or get worse.

Today is day 50 and I'll be thinning the canopy(bit by bit) to ensure all of the buds are getting enough light.

On Sunday, I sprayed my crop again, with Green Cure. This time I got the mixture correct and didn't shock my plants. YEA! I'll spray them again this weekend. There is no way I'm letting the shit take hold.

Below are some bud shots.

Sorry to hear about your loss. At least you know how to prevent more losses in the future.
Packing them in kinda tight. If your running gdp again give em a little more space. I bet you can yield more with less plants that are not as crowded. The space will also help to allow more airflow to help prevent mold or rot. Some strains you can pack em in tighter, space is better for gdp imho.

Lead,

It's great to hear from you. Long time no chat. Your advice and ideas are always welcome. On this grow I am running a sick PVC manifold inspired by you.

I screwed the pouch on this grow! Trial and error BABY! I was super bumbed at first because the grow was unfolding flawlessly and I was looking at a MASSIVE yield. But this wasn't bad luck, this is my fault. I knew the humidity was too high and I was procrastinating about trimming. I learned my lesson.

Honestly, I was thinking the same thing about the plant count. Especially, after trimming during transition, and then again during week 3. I felt as if I trimmed half a plant off of each f'n plant.

Currently, I have 18 plants in a 3.5'-6.5' tray x 2 trays. Total of 36. I am thinking 24 next time. What do you think?
