Very nice, I just picked up some habenero's from a nursery and have never grown peppers before. Mine are just a little bigger then yours are right now and I cant wait to see how yours progress. I will be taking notes and if there is any hints you might have please let me know.

Let's hear it for the pepper fiends!

We've got some Bhuts going, then Dad sent me home with more, along with some rocoto seedlings. The rocoto pepper is very tasty and is the only pepper with BLACK seeds. It's also a perennial, so you can keep it going for several years at least.

Also came home with something called Black Pearl, and the peppers are supposed to be decorative only. It's a very striking plant, beautiful dark purple, almost black leaves.

We've got NuMex, habanero, jalapeno, serrano... more peppers than I can list right now (they're really hubby's gig, I mostly grow pot). I can hardly wait for the Sungold tomatoes, though.
Man, I wish I had some of each of those chile peppers... I'm a chile pepper addict myself, Anyone got any extra seeds??? lol... Looking nice and firey guys...
It's probably better to just buy the seeds from the Chili Institute. If you want to breed the peppers to make more seeds you have to keep them separate from other peppers, otherwise they'll hybridize.

I have no idea, but it might be worth a try.

My son carries a bottle of Dave's Insanity around with him and he holds 'Challenges' which are hilarious because most of the kids around here think a little black pepper is hot.

Beautiful! Our rocotos are in, one is kickin' butt and taking names, the other one needs to get happy in its new home. No peppers are producing, but we have a few with flowers now. Not so many bees this year.

i started the ghost, red caribbean, black prince, and chiltepin about 3 weeks ago.You have to watch when buying the ghost chilis though alot of fakes on the market.www.chilepepperinstitute.org has some nice peps. I had a whole chili and won $100,they are pretty cruel to your body.Sugar, milk, yogurt none of that stuff will save you.You will think your dying you'll sweat get numb and feel like popcorn does in the microwave. Also the hotter drier climates produce the hottest peppers. peace
