I noticed the soil plant use less water then my coco plants.. Everything is in 3gal smart pots & the soil plants take 3 Mc Donald's cup fulls of water 3-32oz cups.. The coco plants need a full 5 Mc Donald's cups of water..

Only down fall in soil is them fuckin gnats.. I've never ever had bugs with canna coco.. Well that's a lie I had spring tails in canna but no gnats.. Now I'm using roots 707 & I seen 3 gnats flying around.. I fuckin hate bugs!!

yo MG use some playground sand make sure u rinse it out first a tip da homie Big C told me about... top dress your soil with it.... i got rid off those fukn gnats...

That's what I use 2.. I juss hate 2 keep adding the sand after I water & the sand sinks in2 the soil.. I hate 2 water slow.. But I'm gunna have 2 bust out the bag of sand again.. & with the sand on top I can't see if my plants need water<<< I can't tell if there dry. Oh we'll I'm gunna have 2 do what I have 2 do.. im running a 1000k hps on half power (to save power and keep it cool
....I am now debating if I want to crank it up to 75% or not

If your turning the watts down switch to lower bulb to drop temp ... Switching watts and leaving big bulbs stays pretry damn hot my .02

If you can put the sand on top like i told Evoke and the put a sticky trap at the base of each soil plant and then just do a bottom feed. You will eliminate those fuckers in a week.[/quote]

wanting/needing to know what PH do you soil growers run with the GSC??........im starting to see the old problem ive had with the straight GSC on my ALIEN COOKIES ya know the curling/crispy leaves, thinking its a ph issue......

any info would be great...

Any one able to bump yields up "with this low producing plant" lol? It seemed fine my 1st real run with her and was curious others findings. I run 600s now which imo helped me achieve what i needed.
Grit- you seemed closest to getting a gpw ive seen. I know most were puliing 1 to 1-1/2 per 1000w. Methods employed would be interesting as well

I do 6.2-6.3 but them GSC lower leafs juss like 2 die & fall of 4 no reason.. I Never figured it out either..it hasn't happened that bad this run.. My 1st run she did it all the time but that was my best run with her so I didn't trip on it very much.. Every run I seem 2 keep them happier..

quick organic fix for fungus gnats.........predatory nematodes. They are about $25 bucks for a million. Water them into your soil and within a week or two all fungus gnats will be gone and will not come back. Nematodes will eat any soil borne pests for the most part. Aphids will laugh at them, but anything else is toast.

I'm not gunna play around I'm doing all 3 of these.. LOL!! Death 2 bugs.. 1st bayer then sand & after I think the bayer is gone I'm gunna add the neamatoads.. Great tips guys
