Lol.. I am the last one that would ever fluff TGA gear. It is widely known that potency is lacking in the majority of subcools flowers, but they are all super tasty.. However, this Jesus OG is straight up dank. One of the best OG hybrids out there that I have grown. She has the potency, OG Kush smell, ridiculous frost... Which is far from generic OG kush.

And anyone questioning why I dont smoke flowers, its simple.. I dont like SMOKE. it conceals the true flavor of the plant. I you only smoke the top buds, then yeah, they will probably be more potent than the larf. Oils homogenize the entire plant so that you can experience the true essence of the entire plant in one dab. I can definitely discern between oils. If you are dabbing on Tane soup, then I can't speak to that... I sure as hell dont dab anything less than perfect oil.

You guys would all be shitting if these pictures below were from the Yeti line... But theyre not... its TGA

I feel you GD..But JUST like REDHEADS AND BLONDES, All PREFERENCE. I know some hippies who'd tell ya, keep living. But then again, subcools strains aren't all that praised. To each it's own i say . But not smoking da bud and saying it conceals? ? I need to smoke WHATEVER oils your smoking on lol. Your one hellofa grower that's for damn sure bro .

Yeah, I dont smoke cigarettes, cigars, cat nip, meth, crack, or bud... Smoke kills my lungs... Oil vapors provide the medicine I need and the flavors that are in my opinion far better than what you get with smoked flowers. No need to combust a bunch of plant materials when all you really needed was the essential oils..

the medicinal values are in the essential oils of the plant (THC, CBD, etc...)... not the chlorophyll, cutin, lipids, etc... Subs plants put out lots of oils. More oils = more medicine.. The Jesus OG is every bit as potent as the Hells Angels OG.. Ive been growing the HA for several years.

Lmfao can you even smoke catnip?? Lmfao i feel you . If dudes i smoked had the knowledge and tools back n late 80s early 90s to produce usable oils. Im sure my prophecy would be like yours. I need to get off the blknmilds myself.

It takes about 7-10 grams of bud to make one gram of oil. I used to smoke bud all day every day for many years.. I got older and it started catching up to me. I ran 3-5 miles every day just so that I can smoke whatever I want and still feel good about it. Now since converting to oils, my cardio is better than it ever was when smoking bong rip after bong rip after joint etc... Oils are the only form of cannabis that fit my lifestyle, edibles slow me down too much..

Preach .. Aging does require adjustments. I myself Middle Lane Aged . Baggy jeans generation, no stretch pants lol. So i feel that totally . I've dabbed recently, and man You dude's get fuckin stoned!!! Lmfao i need to find balance. Going from paper's to vape pens soon . But how'd You quit your tabbacoo? Navy started me on da Bacco! Hated tabbacoo before that. Always curious how folks stop using it.

I never smoked tobacco... I've always hated smoke honestly, I always thought that there has got to be a better option than smoking and eating cannabis... so.. here i am. making oil for a living...

that jesus og looks good when you photograph it just like the rest of subcools strains. almost all his crosses look like that but the potentcy is lacking. go get a magazine and his strains look like theyre the holy grail. when i first started growing, sub was the first breeder i knew. i grew some of his stuff. it was all covered in trichs and it had the best smell in my garden. as soon as the cure was finished and i smoked it, it wasnt potent at all. it would have made a lot of oil though. he gave me a sample of his space queen from his garden when i bought seeds from him. the bud looked and smelled incredible. not potent at all. im sure that jesus og makes some good oil. i rarely see people growing that jesus og. i never see it or the ripped bubba thats suppose to be better than bubba. jesus og wasnt even mentioned in the best og threads. you might be right greendot. all im saying is that, you need to smoke to judge flowers and subcools strains wont help you convince people about anything. he had my mouth watering looking at his pics just to be disapointed

i got a few friends that dont smoke flowers and their opinions are all off IMO. i prefer a smokers opinion. i understand you cant for health reasons. your opinion is a little tainted if you dont smoke the buds

now that i've got an extract artist that's producing sick nearly perfect shatter, snapnpull, nectar etc.. i totally get the whole 'i don't smoke flowers' thing. dabbing great concentrates that don't irritate your airways at all and have a perfect representation of the flavor doesn't even compare to smoking bud. i enjoy the experience significantly more, and it's healthier.

for most people, myself included at the moment, smoking bud is the easiest way to tell if something has that 'holy crap this is strong' factor. but if you're like GD... you blast ALL of your plants/varieties into oil and ONLY dab, then that's how you tell what's the winner.

and since GD is a commercial oil producer, he selects plants based purely based off of terpene content and resin production. GD is looking for keepers that are different than the keepers many of us traditional growers (commercial or not) don't really care for.

GD posted at his IC thread that when smoking bud, his preference is to use a quality torch lighter and just graze the bowl lightly. only the first hit or two. furthermore, a bic isn't as efficient so we inhale extra hydrocarbons that aren't burned. sparking the lighter directly next to the bowl can result in you inhaling 10,000+ppm of hydrocarbons. GD recommends lighting your bic away from the bowl while not inhaling. <<< loosely paraphrased.

maybe this could be a better option, have you tried this before GD?
years ago, i had a Hakko soldering iron. if you take the metal tip and sleeve off, there is a ceramic heating element. i would use this to smoke bud with bongs. the taste is way better and the hit is less harsh. a lot of the time, i would just hold it near the weed, and it was vaporize the oils.

the new version now has adjustable heat! dunno if it's better, most people use the 456 model i think.

here it is being used with oil, but ya get the idea

the problem with the Hakko, embur, phedor are that they burn too hot for oil. they're good for bud though. You want to dab oil at low temps. If you dont have an e/d-nail, then i suggest using quartz. Get it red hot, let the temps dive until you cant see red... wait a little more, then dab. all flavor, perfect high.

I got the yeti i think a snoman and bmr i think a few of each of whatever the last drop was im not gonna pop them at this point but maybe let them do there thing in the sun n see what they r about really sucks because i was looking forward to snagging an HB pheno but just cant justify takeing the chance of pollenating my grow it is what it is i guess oh well.

Have to put my two cents in here because everyone else is :) I think that TGA gear is subjective, his original release of Vortex was awesome and I've even had an exceptional Qrazy Train presented to me. I smoke a lot of herb and still got lit off of it and enjoyed every minute of it.

The Joseph OG is a male from the Yeti line if I'm not mistaken and I hear no one complaining about those Gage crosses. I myself will be the first to admit I have not seen a Yeti that has just stopped me in my tracks and said "grow nothing but me and only me" but I have had the Underdawg and it in it's purest form is just damn near perfect. The only thing that I noticed in regards to it's potential progency is it's not an overly loud strain by any means, just balanced and like I said, damn near perfect. Hope this isn't just adding flames to the fire, I'm stoned and felt like contributing :)

Yea theres no flames here. Ill be honest the loompas hb we get is dope i rank it up there top 3 all day long anyone thats seen and smoked the real deal loompas headband knows so im not knocking anything really it i had the space and means id still go after the hb pheno i just dont but im gonna try n grow some outside n see whats up. Peace all good vibes.
