I'll be glad just to get a 3/4 to 1 1/2 Lb of product under my new LED Philzon FD4500, that should catch me up to having "Head-Stash" all the time an stop me from buying $10 a gram buds to get me by till harvest. I must say this last $75 worth is skunky, and chill high,Cheers SS

Another reason to use Grove bags. No worries about burping schedule, all grown up, Big boy style

i didn't fill my grove bag as much as you did. i was worried i would have too much, as it stated 3/4 full to give it room.
It's hard to tell from photo but there is air in there. And are at .75lbs each for 1lb bags. Feel it should be enough, you don't think so?
They are all floating nice without being compressed, seemed adequate imo

no, i am not sure if it is. but if you weighed it then you're golden. i didn't weigh my bags

It's funny cause it wasn't planned to be exactly 3/4 for each but that's just what it came out to. Ironic or fate? I feel in my second grow the gods have moderately blessed me lol
that's awesome. i hope i have better luck this time. last was too big for the tent as it was my first and i did super cropping on them, but i let them veg a little too long. doing LST and hopefully a scrog if i can find some bamboo poles.

<snip>, grove bags are a relatively new deal and not everyone uses them. <snip>
Are they really that new? I distinctly remember an old youtuber, WizardNPK iirc, from probably 2016 or so who used a type of set and forget bag curing. As I was reading this thread I was thinking these were the current version of the same product as I remembered the videos from years ago.

Well... 6 years in the grand scheme of humanity and weed use is relatively new lol.

You’ll be golden. It’s better for them to be spread out with the environment in the bag evenly than all bunched together with head space in the top. The more even redistribution and gas exchange the better.

Thank you,

That's exactly what I was thinking, but I don't think everyone agrees. If the bag is sealed, empty air space is in there by volume, and why not have it evenly distributed than the opposite?

What’s your opinion on Grove Bags? I’m using half gallon jars and quickly running out of storage space. Tell me about your experience with these and how I can best use them to cure and store. Thanks! 🙂
Have to be looking at these not burping is worth it never burp the jars when they should be

Right. If you have the moisture in the middle taking longer to work it’s way out, yet the areas exposed to more gas exchange are completing processes more rapidly, that to me sounds like a more uneven rate of curing. But who knows…maybe if they are dried perfectly it’s not as impactful. The important part is that you are THINKING! Lol….I know it sounds funny, but it’s what we need more of in this world, and, discoveries can lead to better quality cannabis for you 😮‍💨👍

Lol exactly. You’d have to be insane in the membrane to not at least try one bag with like a half oz.

Ha ha I know it's a bit late for me to worry about being insane in the membrane. But the bags sound pretty good. I smoke weed and I've got brain damage but I don't give a f*** cos I still manage great lyrics from a sou assassins but on a very serious note I am going to be trying them out for my next garden definitely stoned is the way of the walk and that you can be sure genesis 1_12 I have given you all the seed bearing plants on earth to use and that you can look at in a bible where there is a quote for the same thing so what can you say about that then

Just finished up my second order of Groves. First order was back in October '21 and now today bought a bunch of bags with graphics and various sizes. I really prefer them over my old jars, C-vaults, and steel-tainers. Same quality cure but way more efficient storage in my cure fridge.
Still takes some playing around with the cart and shipping to get lowest price but no biggie.
Most of the bags from my '21 order can be reused but I want to try other sizes and wanna see something other than black in my stash fridge.

I am curious though...Anybody ever add oxygen absorbers to the bags? Most of my bags are for long term storage, 6-12 months and I'm thinking about add oxygen absorber packs. I use the packs in my cold seed storage and they work quite well along with 32% Boveda packs. Some of my seeds are 7 years old and still pop like they're fresh using those oxygen absorbers. I'm thinking I want the 3 month cure to lock up at 3 and smoke like it's a 3 month cure even if it's over 12 months old

I have used O2 absorbers in Mylar bags for long term freezing. They work to slow down the decay.

I do not believe they would be effective for long in a Grove, they are permeable to pass gasses. O2 would clearly be among them. They don't really absorb much O2 in the first place, you would have to use a lot of them to get anything worthwhile, I think.

I just ordered another 6 - 1/4lb bags and on their order page they have a coupon code box......So where does one find coupon codes for Grove bags? We need a Grove bag rep on here to entice us to buy their product with the help of discounts.

They sent me a coupon code last year. They use sales rep's names as codes, at least they did. Try "Tyler"
