so mr. not a dick can i ask you a question? how do you get you plants with such giant colas? i need to learn how to properly feed them. now i get some good medicine but not like that and i want to. i grow in soil and i only use Advanced nutrients Iguana grow and bloom juices. I got a nice 400 watt HPS and environments great genetics and extra love and care. So what would you suggest. Im in Albq. if you would like to come by. :character0053::big_boss::big_boss:

Plain and simple, you need more light. Nutes only go so far to build bud mass.
50 watts per sq ft is minimum. With a 400, that's a 2 x 4 area or a 3 x 3 area MAX.
If you can introduce 75-85 watts per sq ft and still keep your temps down you will see the massive/chunky colas you desire.

Yes, I desire:) The t-5's are great for vegin but even with the 3500k bulbs it is falling behind in the wieght catagory for flowering. Your definition explains it. The t-5's have to almost lay on top of the plants to be effective. Will definitly be able to try an hps for flowering next time. Learning alot this grow, Thanks Sky

Head to Radio Shack for a hand held magnifier/loupe or buy a jeweler's loupe on ebay to check yer trichomes. DON'T harvest or use the red hairs as any sort of indicator. Some strains have lotsa red hairs, others don't. I've also seen them change color from too many nutes and other factors in the grow room.

Thanks for the links. For now I am using a used high school bio scope that Works real good.
Question? Do I wait for cloudy to scatterd amber? or just cloudy? They are cloudy right now with no amber.. Begin week 7 monday morning.
