Everything is in the video step buy step. from mixing, how much to top dress with and when. Just watch the video a couple of times. It' just does not get any easier than this. Read up on liquid kelp and Molasses. I use this Molasses from the grocery store.

I believe it's unsulfured.
That part is crucial or you will create problems with your plant. It will say it right on the label somewhere. Plantation blackstrap UNSULFURED molasses is what I use on occasion.

This is how I do it.
Is that you? Your video?
Question: Is there enough air flow through the plants? The way they're penned up I'd think mold might be an issue. (It would be in southeast mich)

Idk about adding stuff to promix, I know it's done, but I have never done it. I use strait promix and strive nutrients. No PH'ing NO checking PPM, just follow the recommended amount with strive no need to do reduced amount. Over sized pot water once every 7-10 days. Easy peasy. I am sure others will know what to do in your situation, but I'm all about simplicity. Nutes a very important part of the grow, adding this and adding that in the soil, then using liquid nutes on top of that seems very complicated. Sorry I can't help just don't have the experience in that area.

As your a new grower if you have issues with that setup, think about simplifying the setup. Maybe you will be a professional soil maker and your plants will come out like 300 LB gorillas, it's just nutes are the foundation to your grow, and you got nutes going in everywhere add in the soil from the garden which you don't really know whats in it.

There are some soil builders in here so hopefully they chime in. Good luck.

The plants where penned up like this after a hail storm tore them to peaces. Outdoors at the time this video was shot mold was not an issue.
The plants where properly thinned as the season wore on.

Cool, thanks for replying. I only grow outdoors and I'm having mold issues every year so looking for ways to avoid it next year.
I think I'm going to try and open up the middle of the plants and do lots of training before 'mold season'.

I use promix BX M (can’t tell exactly what mix your bag is)

Below is my mix (for 3 gallons of peat I’ll add 1 gallon of perlite to that mix and about a cup of EWC and that’s it, that’s for 4x 1 gallon pots)

I do only amend with organic neuts and top dress with the same, no PH checking or PPM / EC I just put water into a 5 gallon jug and let it sit for at least 25 hours to off gas any chlorine and I use a VOC / chlorine / chloramine RV water filter on my hose line

I moisten that mix lightly and mix together then close it back up in the totes for about a week, y then there should be some nice white fuzz growing on top (yay myco 😂) then I add the perlite, mix and pot up

I’m sure there’s tons of mixes around just an example of mine, and there’s many better soil builders than me for sure!

I know you are finishing in 5 gallon pots, what are you starting them in? I would suggest at least starting in solo cups or smaller containers. That will help with watering. The main thing is to water fully, then let dry back. I would suggest starting a journal and then other growers can follow along.
