oh boy....i just did and it looks super high (given the label coloring got a lil discolored)
it looks like its definitely above 7
i live in los angeles so who knowsOh my before i go holy shit what the fuck is your water made of?? , did you use more then 2-3 drops of ph indicator?
i live in los angeles so who knows
I used 4 drops. the label said to fill up vial halfway and use 3-5 drops.
Some days i tried using the brita to filter the deposits out, but now i'm considering getting a TDS meter as well

fuck fuck fuck hahahaOk 4 is ok too..
So your water has a ph of somewhere in the range of 8-9.
Whats happening with that is your locking out major nutrients, you need to start lowering the ph of the water after you add your nutrients to around 6.5 buffer it with some Ph down, Practice with just plain water till you get the hang of buffering cause its easy to add too much ph down.
Once you get the hang of ph down and checking the ph then start doing it with nutrients and then FEED THE POOR GURL!!!!!!!!!!
and get the hang of this like.. in the next hour :P
me being the idiot i was on the first grow threw that chart out hahaSame drops here

Mr. Aquaman somewhere in his kit it says Coco bricks so he's growing in Coco I believe
I told you above what the pH for Coco was, good luckfuck fuck fuck hahaha
ok, but where can i get a digital pH meter today?? Would home depot have one or lowes? I could try a hydroponics store i guess and see if theyre open on sunday.
So even though the kit i bought said I dont need additional nutrients you want me to get more nutrients?
So lower my pH to 6.5 to my water can then water it?
fuck fuck fuck hahaha

my bad just saw your post. 6.0 here we go!!!I told you above what the pH for Coco was my friend good luck have
I told you above what the pH for Coco was, good luck.
@Beachwalker suggested 5.9-6.0 pH for coco, so anywhere in between 6-6.5 should do fine for now?I wouldn't suggest a digital ph meter they need to constantly be calibrated and are routinely peaces of total shit made in china.
The method your using is chemical, Its fool proof fuck proof and can never be mistaken or wrong. Its science at its finest.
You may not need more nutrients but you do need to stop locking out any nutrients that are currently in the soil by lowering the ph ;D
yes assuming you have a super soil with nutrients already in it, if you ph now to 6.5 with just water she should rebound and start regaining color.
If she don't add some nitrogen fertilizer or a compost tea or something organic bat shit whatever fox farms makes a good one.. Alaskan fish fertilzer is my go to but jesus christ it smells bad.. its fish shit after all.. but damn.. so bad.
Ok it's a blend of coco and soil, test the ph coming out after you water collect enough runoff.A pot for Pot
here's a link. There's a towards the bottom
check it out. there was a super soil layer, coco bricks, and a couple smaller things i mixed together in a big bucket to make the soil. Can you get a really good photo of your soil?
There seems to be confusion if your running in coco or actual soil.
that is the shit i'm running. the Pot for Pot mix. there's coco bricks in it with their soil mixSuperb Soil
Specially formulated to provide all the nutrients your plant needs from seed to harvest. It's that easy!
Is this the shit your running?
if it is... THATS NOT COCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually measured the pH during the late late veg state and the vial was completely red...like below 4. but idk if that was because of the runoff container not being cleaned properly before or what...Ok it's a blend of coco and soil, test the ph coming out after you water collect enough runoff.
I wouldn't call it coco. Ph of your tap is important but more so the alkalinity. Rather than get into all the details, the soil has the ability to alter ph to an extent. So testing the runoff will see where your at in a very vague way.
Because it's likely depleted of nutrients you can expect the ph of runoff to be higher and adding nutrients will help lower pH.... Enough that's a different story. Yes a ph meter would be helpful to you.
If you want to try understand what I'm talking about read here.
Marijuana pH Levels for Growing Weed: A Basic Explanation
OK I'm going to do my best to explain PH since its something that is for the most part greatly misunderstood and can be confusing to new growers and even experienced growers alike. This will explain why we need both ppm and PH meters to give us informed information about PH This will be a...www.thcfarmer.com
Imo picking up a bottle of ph down, some balanced nutrients and a ph and ppm pen should give you everything you need to get back on track. If going organic I'm not the guy to talk to and you don't really need the ppm meter. If going synthetic then those will give you a good chance of fixing this.
Couldn't find the chart or the drops I don't use this kind anymore I know they're out there but there's so much stuff I'd have to look throughdude you got to hold it up to the chart, I've got those same drops here somewhere and the chart too I think, let me look at it
