Thank you! Yes, 100 feet all around but it is so dry and kind of windy...

The story so far for this fire is a grower started his water pump, and instead of watching it while it ran, he was off doing other shit and it started a fire in some dry grass. They already bulldozed his whole garden.

Dumb asses.

At one of my properties last night, my full time guy went to bed after he put his cigarette on the ground.

I have told him and the neighbors, "Do not put cigarettes or any other trash on my ground"

Well just so happened my friend needed to borrow my water pump so I told her she could go over there and get it.

As soon as she got into the property she noticed a big stream of fire and no one around!

Lucky for me fate worked out that way or else today would be a very different tale! She put the fire out and my full time guy has been schooled.

The flyers I don't mind, I am very used to it. Got photographed and videod just last week by the black chopper.

It is quite hard to get a pic, I got lucky getting the pictures I did, those fuckers move quick!

With the fire down the road I had to stay busy. I rounded up emergency supplies, I have lotsa supplies(I am a prepper)

But to be honest I am most worried about my genetics, LOL.

Thankfully I have a couple good friends who would be here in an hour or less with one ton diesels and trailers and helping hands. They are already on standby if I say the word.

So I went ahead and did my second spray today for the russet mites, if the fire doesn't get here then I need to treat my shit still, right!

This dose was takedown with a wetting agent by grow more.

Some Purple Diesels

A Mantis guarding the Purple Diesels

Dog

Some of the genetics ready to be loaded up if need be

Girl Scout Cookies, Dog, Super Silver Haze, Ole Betsy, Capitalizer....

Casey Jones, Larry OG, Fire OG, ACDC....

I hear the Forbid is Good stuff..and wont show on lab tests if used early

I was told by a couple trusted farmers not to use the sulfur and oil based pesticides at the same time. It could cause burning.

Is the Forbid oily?

From another website:

It should be noted that Bayer developed Spiromesifen (Forbid 4F, Oberon) specifically for the Russet Mite. Its incredibly effective as a preventative and to fight the onset of an infestation, but I dont think it could save a heavily infested plant, especially not while in flower.

Spiromesifen is a lipid biosynthesis inhibitor that is transliminal throughout the plant for about 30 days, it causes the mites to be unable to synthesize any fatty acids or triglycerides into cell material and they basically explode from the inside. Its glorious. I lost my last crop late in flower to russets, so Ive been spraying Forbid 4f as a preventative on this next round and I havent seen a sign of Russets in some time.

And you are correct about them not being used together, but I am willing to kill these plants so....I do have some necrotic leaves today from the oil spray yesterday, but not really bad.

I will spray the forbid tonite. I am going to grab some from my buddy down the road and I will update on whether it is oily or not. My guess is that is it, and I use a wetting agent with every spray too so maybe that counters the oily some??

It sounds like forbid needs to be used before an outbreak..But maybe after you kill most of em..If can help keep em from coming back..I hope

Im going to use the sulfur spray later....Its safe late..and it could help control any PM too.

I plan to do a very descent dousing with the forbid. My hope is the previous sprays I did have made them so unhappy and near death that the forbid will finish the job...

so a little update

After sprays of permethrin, pyrethrin and sulfur they are still alive and kicking!

Here is a video I just took of the little fucks crawling around.

I can say that I spotted some that looked dead, and some crawling around much slower than yesterday. So I think the permethrin has slowed them down. I do not think the other sprays did anything really...maybe the pyrethrin smothered some eggs.

So, I went to get the forbid from my buddy and he wasn't home, so I went to the ag shop and talked with the guy about whats been happening around the area with russet mites. He says the only thing that has been saving peoples crops at all is met52 ec. It is quite pricy but I picked up a bottle after spending a minute researching it.

@Capulator , so met52 ec contains :

Metarhizium anisopliae Strain F52 11.0% w/w
Contains 5.5x109 Colony Forming Units (CFU)/gram

Can you help reassure me about this product? I know you are very educated on biowar. If the store sold your products I would have picked them up right away but they didn't stock them yet...and I HAVE to deal with and resolve my issue ASAP!
Also would you have a recommendation on the way I should apply? I assume spray but any exact amout you would recommend?

Thank you for any suggestions or advice!

Ya know, I have this very crazy, but possibly true idea in my mind now.

I may have gotten these russet mites from the sfv og in particular. She has always been finicky as fuck, yields typically unreliable, and just a general bitch.

I got her last fall from a good friend, and he also told me when he gave her to me that she was a finicky little fuck with unpredictability...I took her anyway.

I even did the farmer brag and said "Watch I will have no problems with her and I will hit 8 each this season!" LOL, they are big, but not growing like a healthy cannabis plant should at all.

Maybe somehow the bugs were able to hang onto just her for over a year or three?? Not likely but evidence suggests so so far.

All my other genetics are fine...just sfv's

I am no longer keeping this cut of sfv. If these plants are healthy in a week or less then they can live out the season.

I have the fire og and the larry and both are healthy as can be and both get bigger and better yields anyway.

Just sprayed about half the garden with the met52, the rest after the sun goes down some more

I am for sure cutting down one whole sfv today.

The irony is, it is the mama I used for all the sfv's this year, and I know to NEVER put out mamas unless it is all you have.

Please note: I have not sold this cut of sfv out to anyone yet...and I now know I will not. I did gift a few to a friend and I will know tomorrow how his are doing.

and it is the original sfv plant my buddy gave me...

In the pic below, see the tall one in the back left? That is her on March 13 this year

Here she is today:

Here is one of her daughters getting doused with met52 a bit ago, this one might get killed as well

Next post will be a pic of an empty spot where the mama sfv used to be...fuckin sux
