I'm sure I heard last 2 weeks of flower, so wanted to ask thanksI have run them on for flower... the whole 12hrs
I have run them on 2 hrs in the morning 2 hrs in the eveing before lights out that way there ready for the next morning....
#2 worked best for me....
Whats with the 6 hours and 3 hours twice a day?last 3 weeks of flowering...only turn them on for 6 hrs a day....so if u r running 12/12 then run them 3 hrs after lights on and off 3 hrs before lights off
ok so lets say you are doing a 12/12 cycle.Whats with the 6 hours and 3 hours twice a day?
I left the on 12 hours last 2 week's on last lot , no bad effects but want to know exactly when to use
THANKS,last 3 weeks of flowering is when the uv is needed
i'm not saying turn it on and off for 3 hrs. lol, i guess i'm really bad at explainin myselfTHANKS,
I did get you the first-time :)
Unjust wondered why the 3 hours twice a day at them times,
Sound alot of work flicking them on and off. I onder if leaving of 12 hours in flower would cause problems?
I never seen any but only 1 run of had
Sound easier to rewire the long and also the uv and creed to a timer switch
Imo it depends on the UV source and intensity. With UVA like you have they should be fine running the while time. LED diodes and especially the ones in these fixtures have a fairly insignificant amount of UVA and I would say virtually no UVB. If using UVB depending on intensity short periods of exposure and some studies show the last few weeks of flower to be most beneficial.THANKS,

I did get u mate ha, I am a bit slow mind hahai'm not saying turn it on and off for 3 hrs. lol, i guess i'm really bad at explainin myself
so lets say your light on is at 9 am, you turn your uv on at 12pm and then turn it off at 6 pm. you only need 100 par of uva+uvb. but i wouldn't worry about it that much since most of the UV diodes in led isn't even useful in my opinion. because the ones that does works, cost way tooooo much and has a really short lifespan
AGREED, and if UV is such a big thing for you, i would just use a T5 separately to supplement the lights but make sure you make a reflector to go with itImo it depends on the UV source and intensity. Thanks
