Whoa is that salt buildup on those cloth pots. Or calcium or is it mold?

I never saw that before and never used those cloth pots. One of the other guys should chime in.

That looks like mold to me. I've seen mycorhizae form on the outside of pots but never to that extent. Not sure man...

Yeah either water mold or myco. Hard to tell but a close up may help.

Looks like a combination of mold and myco.

I would clean that off with isopropyl alcohol or something.

Those trellis nets really make it hard to work. I always use bamboo stakes and soft wire so i can move plants around.

Try soap and water or just water first. I dont know the consistancy. Looks like the strands are myco so they will have some tension like a mushroom but the rest looks like powder or gook.

I mean the only way to tell if its beneficial is to identify the species. I think no matter what ots gonna keep coming back.

It's like slightly damp cotton wool, nothing like mould I have ever seen tbh
