They are super bright and cast most of their heat downward towards the plants. You'll want a good oscillating fan and supply of cool air to keep things in range.

I have a foot candle meter and IR temp gun to get the best lamp placement for most light while trying to stay around 76-78*F on the leaf surface. The tent reads an average of 80*F but the hottest spot where the light is cast reaches 100*F, about 12-18" above the canopy.

Last night's readings were 6000 foot candles, 77*F leaf surface, 30" from canopy lamp placement.

First time with all 3 of these cuts. They won't be much more than 4-6 oz each. Vegged for maybe 4-5 weeks.

Got these cuts from a kid in Denver. DJ Short Flo I believe, same with the Grape Krush. Got the White Rhino as it's the first strain I grew, nostalgia factor.

Couldn't leave the tent zipped up last night, not because of heat, but from standing there staring at the ladies and basking in the light. It's a noticeable increase in output over even a fresh 1kw HPS. Plus it can be overdriven to 1150w, which I haven't tried yet but it must be violent.

Definitely stokin' to see how these gals make use of the extra PAR output.

Thanks, they're in canna coco amended with some worm castings and humus. The Bountea helps along with canna boost to pump up the resin and smell.

No CO2 this round so we'll see how they do. That's week 5 of 9-10, so the fun stuff is yet to come. :)

Easiest product to use ever. You can literally feed them just Flora Nova Bloom start to finish and crop pretty well. Adding Kool Bloom to the mix makes them go nuts in bloom. I use it starting day 1 of 12/12 in liquid form and switch to the powder form the last couple weeks.

I'm watering the large gals a gallon every other day. The little ones get half a gallon every third day which will ramp up to a half gallon every other day.
