Well we will see when she gets harvested how bad it is....but that is good
as long as that isnt the whole plant
you can keep running them until you find one stable
then find something you want to cross it to
then cross it and have babies
find the best male and back brees it to the mom
and out of those babies find another strong male and back breed it again
now she is cubed
and hopefully stable
no nothingDo you mist them to stay perky? Is your room humid? That's awesome man I suck at making clones mine never look anything like that by the time they root thanks for sharing ;)
Here are the specs on the two low budget LED lights that I'm currently using in my bloom area with includes UV and IR chips.the only LED "Fixture" I have seen with UV are the Amare and Spectrum King

Here's some info on my next replacement LED lights
Welcome to the next generation of PlatinumLED Grow Lights – the most powerful LED grow lights available on the market today! Featuring the highest PAR per watt of any other LED grow light along with the most complete 12-band spectrum available, our lights ensure maximum yield with minimum power usage and heat.
The P300 effectively replaces a conventional 400w HPS grow light while only consuming 180 watts of actual power, while giving your plants 100% USABLE light that is perfectly tuned to create maximum photosynthetic response.
The secret to the PlatinumLED success is combining an optimal blend of 12 different bands of complete light spectrum all the way from the depths of UV to the upper IR - giving your plants EXACTLY the finely tuned spectrum that they need. By combining our finely tuned spectrum along with integrated 90 degree secondary focusing lenses that penetrate deep within the canopy, our high-output 3W LEDs simply blow away the competition.
What's more, the PlatinumLED Grow Lights offer dual light spectrums to provide the best of both worlds for vegetative growth and the flowering stage. The VEG setting uses only 93 watts to provide excellent vegetative growth in a 4.5'x3.8' area. Simply turn on the second switch to boost the light to full 180 watt capacity and modify the spectral output to encourage unbelievable flowering in the same space.

I got everything moved around last night so I could build my new box. 10'x5'x8' I'm gonna frame it up with 2x4, not sure just yet what I'm going to sheet it with.
I would sheet it with subflooring and the inside I would use foil backed insulation foamYou guys are debating which light will perform the best and I'm over here just trying to not kill my ladies lol. Update: I got everything moved around last night so I could build my new box. 10'x5'x8' I'm gonna frame it up with 2x4, not sure just yet what I'm going to sheet it with. Funds are on the tighter side right now but I want to get another light and ballast to put in there so I can flower everything together. I was going to just flower the 4 photos and their clones and run the new seedlings next, but if I can get this thing together in the next few weeks I'll flip all of them and just takes cuts for the next round. I did fill the seedling tray with nutes like @Wisher619 recommended so I'm excited to try something new
Lol...Your 4x4 can pull a considerable amount of weight and your already expanding Lmao.
You've got the fever.
I can't wait to see where things go!
if that is the way you feelI'm semi new to the led realm and decided to start cheap because I know that it is only going to get better for the buck in the future. The thing is based on my growing environment in the tiny cellar of a nasty 100 plus year rental. These cheap ass lights are kicking ass in my opinion. You can state all you want Wisher619, like you know it all and I do applicate your stating's. I'm just showing what has been working for me and you are basically telling me that I'm not getting good results from all of my years of growing methods and they are all myth, and yours are perfect. I love how this all started from suggesting supplemental UV over CFL lighting in bloom. :)
Total respect, Orca
I'm in coco myself. Haven't really had major cal mag issues yet. I did start to see some magnesium deficiency but a little Epsom foliar did the trick. The Nectar for the Gods line I'm using has lot of calcium in it so its been great for coco. I do a flush when I up pot with new coco. I use the herculean harvest, Demeter's destiny (liquid calcium), and some Epsom. Kinda like a flush and charge. Got the first 5 ladies up potted into 3 gallon fabric potsjust now and had to move everything around to make it fit. Definitely need that grow box now haha. Between the bigger pots a tray full of seedlings and a few clones its standing room only lolView attachment 648195
You ain't lyin Botha!! :D The funny thing is it's not even so much about yield as it is having room to run a few different strains/ phenos and being able to go perpetual. I figure if I'm gonna build something it would be better to go bigger once than smaller twice haha :cool:Your 4x4 can pull a considerable amount of weight and your already expanding Lmao.

Fellas... I think a lot is lost in translation when we type/read something as opposed to saying/hearing it. I respect both of you for your knowledge of growing and appreciate all input. I think we all know there is more than one right way to grow. I find it funny there are always so many disagreements on a weed growing forum lol. Let's all just smoke some good, take a breath and agree to disagree.if that is the way you feel
I have lost all respect
I in no way ever stated that YOU are doing anything wrong
I was simply stating that the equipment is literally Walmart cheap
in no way was I bashing you by any means
AT ALL
if you are taking it personal that I was bashing on those lights then I must assume you have some stake in them
Looking at your upgrade from what you have now is like going from the 2nd hand store to payless for your shoes
I was simply suggesting that it would benefit you by waiting and saving for something better
your excuse about a 100year old cellar bares no weight what so ever
I dont care if you were growing in a 2x2x4' cardboard box
I would still suggest better
it would only benefit you in the long run
Science tells us that Light is food for plants
and nutrients are the building blocks
if you had a better light you would be doubling your yield LITERALLY from what you are getting
I scanned through you grow log
you have some skill and have produced some really nice lookin plants
all I was suggesting is to step it up in the light game
I suggested the CMH because it has the highest output of UV of any lighting on the market
and since you are into that I suggested it
I also suggested it because it would be a true comparison to a 400w HID in output
the leds you are looking at only put out 150w
less than a 4'4 bulb t-5 fixture
I wasnt debating with you and I wasnt saying that what I think is the best
I was stating that .....IN GOOD CONSCIENCE...... I absolutely could not suggest those fixtures to anyone
if what I suggested hurt your feelings or was offensive to you .....well for that I take offense to your passive agressive scarcasm
UV......for higher THC content....proven myth
the fixtures you are using....emit no applicable UV.......period
those Chinese company's are garbage
I dont know how else to say it
I only want to see people succeed
again as I have stated
I have seen great plants grown by you
upgrading to a quality light will vastly improve size and quality of your finished product
I agree with youFellas... I think a lot is lost in translation when we type/read something as opposed to saying/hearing it. Come on in bro, good to have ya. I want to say they were called risers, don't quote me on that just yet. I'll check the tags when I get back to the lab. I agree on the feed, I run pH around 6.2 I use a tds pen so my ppm has been going from 750-850. My new batch that's bubbling now will be around 1200.Pulling up a chair on this one. Glad to hear the germination went better this time around for you incogneato. Seen some cool stuff in this thread. The water cloning and sips method are pretty sweet.
Hey incogneato what are those grates/screen/things(hahaha) you have over you saucers called? I really like how they keep the plant out of the runoff water! I see you are running a soilless mix that has a decent amount of coco in it. What's your feed strength(EC) and Ph looking like right now? They seem a little bit hungry for food and O2 in the root zone, but that could just be the lighting.
I let it drift in that range but I'm going by the recommended pH on my nectar for the gods feeding chart. They call for 6-6.2 in veg. I plan on being a little lower this feeding because the last feed was a little higher. I still have a lot to learn so please point out anything you see. I think my last pic was more droopy from the foliar I gave em just before the pic was taken. The mix is coco/sphagnum with ewc and some silica amended with about 40% perilite for drainage. I think next time around I may go without the sphagnum. I'm actually running coco by accident, planned on being in soil. At some point I'll do a comparative grow to see what medium I like betterNice they are looking way more perky! I know in coco you're supposed to run ph at 5.7-5.9 but you do have some peat in the mix If I'm not mistaken so 6.2 seems good.
