Turpentine is made from pine resin. I would stick with hardwood sawdust. Can’t be too careful.

Come to think of it, turpentine, and Turpines sound like there is a relationship there. I don’t know whether it’s good or bad. sounds like it’s made from pine Turpines.

Your ScroG table seems a bit high. Are you going to spread the branches out underneath it or are you using the screen as a support as the branches grow up through the net?

When you're plants go into flower they're going to stretch some. Are you taking the stretch into account leaving enough room for distance between light and top of canopy when you finish?
I took your advice and cut down the legs. Much better height for the crushing. When should I clean up the lower foliage? I was gonna flip in a few days, woo hoo!

That's really up to you. I usually would defol right before flip and just keep trimming away leaves that would get in the way. This time I let them go until day 20 of flip then I did a hard defol. I got a little nervous because it was getting thick in there. I thought I might get mold or some other issue but when I did the day 20 defol everything was clean and I got to thin out the canopy.

I did another defol, not as hard, a week later as I felt I hadn't been thorough enough the first time.

Look up schwazzing. That's something I may try in the future just to see how it does.

Thanks so much. Great advice 👍

I start around day 18 or so and never really stop. Any leaf under the screen gets removed.

I inevitably get flower growing underneath anyway.

How do you get it out of thr scrog? Cut the branches where they go into the screen?
It looks like he used a metal lath grid for a net.

I would just cut away individual branches but he might have hung it, grid and all, for the initial dry then separate the branches off the main branch.

I didn't want to beat all the trichomes off by removing the screen, so I just hung it up sideways by the edge of the screen. I will wait a week and cut branches and hang them individually for a week.

Yeah. I had some left from a roll I fenced my yard in with. My 60 x 140 lot is 2/3 garden and while I love bunnys, I DONT want them eating my winter groceries. I depend on my garden to eat so I pressure-can several dozen jars of food each fall.

That's awesome! My wife's been pressure canning for a few years now and it's so neat.
