hi nice info on the DF stuff.
i have blow fish #2 pheno ,. but no one can really tell me what that particular pheno has to offer .

any info, from some of the older crowd maybe.

THEY ARE UNTOUCHED AND WOULD LIKE SOEM MORE INFO TO DIAL IN . DON'T LIKE DOING THAT FROM SCRATCHAwith strins that are hard to get or not avaialble anymore. thx. folks

If you have the F2's made by the 3lb's below is a description of the smell of each of the females they grew from seed.

Blowfish #1 F2 - True Dutch Flower Description/Complex smell
Blowfish #2 F2 - Frankincense (matched to Excalibur)
Blowfish #3 S1 - Stronger, but undetermined smell (matched w Blowfish mix)
Blowfish #4 F2 - Jasmine Floral (matched to Heri)
Blowfish #5 F2 - Juicy Fruit/Tropical Fruit Heaven (Matched to Huey)

please clarify what is meant by the term matched to means as used above . are they saying x was bred to excalibur, huey,& heri ; x being blowfish in it's original form ? i'm confused as hell.

please explain it so a cave man like me can understand.

and yes they are f2's ,at least they are marked as such .

The F2's offered on Cbay were in packs of 15 seeds. For each pack of seeds you purchased through Cbay, the 3 little birds (3LB) threw in a freebie pack of crosses that they made.

As an example, I purchased a pack of F2's which came from their Blowfish mother, which was labeled #2. This particular mother was reported to smell like Frankincense. Along with this pack of Blowfish #2 F2's, I rec'd a pack of their homemade cross which they called Excalibur (Herijuana x [AK47 x Mazar]).

Hope that makes sense

thanks for the reply dude, and i understood it too lol.

do yu know of any more information on the BF #2 MOM AS TO charactersitics, or dial in information yiou have attained. things like yield , flower time, sensitive to nutes or not, pest resistant etc. thx, again

I tried all the DF F2's I could get my hands on back in the day. Most of them were terrible. Pheno's all over the map. The original beans that i got a hold of were good stuff though. I also like a lot of the crosses.

I definitely thought the blowfish f2's and the venomberry f2's were highly over rated.

Damn, I never could get my hands on that Nam black.
Another one that eluded me from back in the day. Constantly outbid on cbay for that one. The crosses that were made with it too. Damn!

GHaze was excellent. Blowfish was good. Venomberry was mediocre. Oxygen 19 sucked. Indigo Blue sucked. Columbian Supremo sucked. Mighty Candy Haze was mediocre. Sugar Klingon were mediocre. Chocolate Trip was excellent. I still have 2 packs of the Metal Haze that I never grew out as well as a few leftover beans from most of the aforementioned packs. Interesting genetics, with very erratic performance and HIGHLY OVERPRICED!!!! Highly skilled copywriter doing the descriptions and VERY limited offerings on CBay had everyone clammering for their DF genetics.

My gawd, these crosses bring back memories... and mostly about all the arguing back and forth on SSC about their merits or lack thereof. I always wanted to get my hands on Chocolate Trip, but everything they sold was unfortunately a little too pricey for me. Good to know that some of them were worthy of being kept around.

Katsu, you are so right about the copywriter ;)
BTW, loved that BubbaTrip. Don't remember if you were the originator of the cross, but it was amazing... sadly though I lost my clone.

agreed, chocolate trip was/is excellant! i have some flower and dry bud pics on another sight,not sure how to transfer them here. the old pc with all my pics is history.will try to put them up if anyones interested.

Where can I get some of that Iron Cindy? That Metal Haze sounds incredible! And then the rev crosses that shit with c99? I know thats gotta be fire!

Metal haze hybrid

I grew out an f1 fathered by the metal haze, incredibly unusual smell, spicy and very metallic, like nothing I've smelled ever before or ever again, strange shit, grew her outdoors many times and she did alright, never had the space for her indoors, I think she would have yeilded well inside, definitely have to dig up some pictures of her, very unique plant for sure. Kreation
