I read they your website. From the searching I've done over the months, your going up against some major players that have a well known name brand already, and at a price point lower than most of your panels.

The gavita 1650e and 1700e, the spydrx, and spydrX+, the hlg500 are still 100-200 cheaper than your comparable units. And with out the exposure its gonna be hard to compete with the big boys.

I'm not sure where you looked but our pricing is the same or cheaper than almost all commercially similar options. Yet none of these listed are wireless, have an app, have optics or are spectrum tunable (except the CLW GHpro). Let's do a little research:

1.) VERTICAL FLOWERING LIGHT:
a. Scynce Raging Kush = $1295 MSRP
b. Gavita 1650 = $1,299 https://hydrobuilder.com/gavita-pro-1650e-ml-led-grow-light-120-270-volt.html
c. Gavita 1700 = $1,299 https://hydrobuilder.com/grow-light...eGcgtje6HXujjJzRgsNhp75hDkrBTkEMaAnNjEALw_wcB
d. Fluence Spydr 2p = $1,350 https://fluence.science/store/spydr-series/spydrx-plus/
e. HLG500 = $1,049 (only 480 watts so not a direct comparison)
f. NextLight Mega = $1,525 https://www.ledgrowlightsdepot.com/products/nextlight-mega-led-grow-light

2.) SINGLE LEVEL OR GREENHOUSE FLOWERING LIGHT:
a. Scynce Dragon SL = $995 MSRP
b. Fluence Vyper 2p = $1,285 https://fluence.science/store/vypr-series/vypr-2p/
c. CLW Greenhouse Pro = $799 (only 340 watts so not a direct comparison)

3.) VERTICAL VEG LIGHT:
a. Scynce Raging Kale = $495
b. NextLight Veg8 = $595
c. Fluence Spydr 2x = $880 https://growershouse.com/fluence-spydr-2x-345w-led-grow-light-100-277v
d. Spectrum King Low Pro Veg = $799 https://allgreenhydroponics.com/pro...CMfPd62OjnbeHuZVCJ-Lz7FZHkAn0y1saAvU2EALw_wcB

I could keep going but the only cheaper lights are DIY and China. PLUS....none of these have the technology built-in that we offer.

Was that your only hope and dream from LED tech in the future? What else might be interesting?
I'll think about it. I just think mimicking the sun in a way chosen by the user is the pinnacle when it comes to grow lighting tech. From there its features and benefits, like the app.

Ok, you posted price comparisons, great. Your lights are about 200 less than your competitor. But your competitor has LOTS more per reviews, and feedback to support the cost. I don't see why I should drop 1300 x 4-5 units (I'm looking to drop 6-7000.00 max), and I'd be more likely to drop with a well known company.

Now say your price point was say 60%-75% of the gavita 1700/1650, I may give it more consideration. Even being new to the game.

I dont need a fancy bluetooth, or sunrise/set, that's just more fluff to break.

I hear your concerns though there seems to be a little animosity in your tone. I am not shoving my product down your throat. You got referred to check us out and have yet to engage in a friendly discovery of who we are. Let's hit the reset button and get some of the facts out there.

1.) We aren't new to this game. We started www.rigidindustries.com 15 years ago and pioneered high quality, optically focused LED tech into the automotive world.
2.) We own the building that company started in and 50% of our employees are previous Rigid employees. Meaning, we have been building LEDs for a long time.
3.) Our sister company, www.illumtechnology.com, has been designing controls and apps for the biggest names in theatrical and architectural LEDs for almost 20 years. Such as: www.cineolighting.com, https://www.hubbell.com/hubbelllightingci/en, and dozens others.
4.) It is true that we aren't a multi-billion dollar company like Gavita (owned by Hawthorne/Scott's Miracle Grow) or Fluence (owned by Osram/Wall Street - many investment banks like Black Rock).
5.) Gavita only got into the LED game 12 months ago, plus all their lights are made in China. That's a lot to pay for light just because you've heard their name before.
6.) Fluence makes a great light but they too are pricey given there is nothing special to their offering.
7.) I'm the technologist of the group but we have on-staff cultivation experts and biologists that can answer any of your grow questions.

At the end of the day our lights aren't for everyone and you might not be interested in spectrum tuning or using an app to set up your scheduling or a completely sealed light that is waterproof. No problem. You need to buy from who you trust and are comfortable with.

My hope is that you can make a completely informed decision, whatever direction you go in. We would love the chance to earn your trust and engage with you on a deeper level.

And just for fun I thought you might enjoy our summer pool video....

Your trying to coming I to a game that has major players that already have a following. Trying to tap into said market with a new product that costs more than what's been working for the grower is going to be very difficult.

Not trying to be a dick, but being realistic from.a business owner standpoint.

If your peice point was lower, I'd be game to try them out. Or i'll do a test run on 3 units vs my current setup that is dialed in.

I am really struggling to understand where you are coming from. First we cost too much. Then we agree we're priced competitively. Then we go back to costing too much (compared to HPS this time though???). I wish we could stay on one discussion. My whole point is that if you need a robust LED option from a manufacturer that has been in the game for almost 2 decades who is incorporating proven tech from other applications and industries, then we are worth checking out.

We aren't "trying" to tap into this market. We have been here for 2.5 years and have sold over 5,000 units across the US, Canada, South Africa, Mexico and Columbia. We're just new to this forum.

@ScynceLED is an American entrepreneur and a successful one at that. Looks to me your Led product successfully harvests quality plants. I have no dog in this fight I am an HPS/CMH grower but given the fact your product is made in the good old USA I’m going to give your product my first shot at a full Led grow. I have been dabbling with some cheap Chinese Led lights mixed with HPS and CMHs. Whats the best way to purchase your lights? Are they sold locally in the states?

@1diesel1
Right on!
You can purchase through any place you like. There are many places online or pick your favorite Hydro shop. Even if that hydro shop doesn't currently rep our lights, we are happy to sign them up. Or you can buy directly from our team in Arizona or Portland. The reason there are so many options is that we feel it is very important to buy from someone you trust and like working with. We purposely aren't trying to cut out the retailers/resellers that cultivators have built relationships over the years who appreciate their advice and service at a local level.
Sorry for the long winded answer. No matter where you go to purchase, I would really like to connect you with our cultivation team to talk through getting your environment dialed in for a full LED run. Message me your email/phone and I will have one of them reach out. Cheers!

No doubt optics have been around forever but not all created equal is what I'm saying.

This ^^^ - these guys are from Rigid industries - I have their lamps on my Toyota Tacoma PU truck they the best in the aftermarket auto lighting industry. IMHO

They make good optics. Stands to mention they should do well in whatever endevour they choose.

I'm glad they like growing weed! lol

If they get looked at from the Toyota crowd favorably they gonna do well here for sure.

Just gonna be a pay to play decision. How about a discount for THC farmers?? Get ya up and running in the
Craft Growing Industry.

There is some peer stuff on this forum also testing UV and far reds. I think sixstring was doing some when he was still posting

I run a combo of 3000K & 1750K 2:1 ratio COB tech - so that gives me so far red. My plants will grow right into the far red cobs. @ 7' indoors. Ever since I've been running this combo my flower room is off the charts. Great quality and big plants.

Have you been hacking our R&D team's notes?
J/K but that will become a reality soon. It will take the full-power spectrum tuning I discussed earlier in this thread, but yes, definitely possible. Look for this early next year!

Just got the dragon turbo from y’all recently. I’m beyond impressed with the power of the light. And I agree I would love to see more Theia options. Present I do a 15 min sunrise and sunset. And ramping up and down by time of cycle. That hat is 💯 too. 👍🏻
