U ever try salts bro?I think I've tried everything (except heavy16 yet)but done a bunch of side by sides, advanced nutrients, canna, etc, and the salts always performed just as well..I use Jack's hydro and calnit, along w epsom and a booster,,and I never have an issue w pH,build up,lock out,etc..the thing is,the $70 I spent on the little buckets of jacks last year, are still half full.hard to get cheaper than that.I grow in coco..had the drip emittors fed by resavor,on a timer..was feeding 3 times a day like that..fastest growth I've ever had..worth checking out.I use the 321 recipe.now I feed by hand...don't grow in house so I need to hook up auto feed again..but yeah,I threw away all the fancy bottles and got simple.couldn't be happier...I use botanicare kind two part in veg tho...with microbes and silica..ewc and bubble.I can use the salts in veg too but I like going natural and gental in veg
Can't beat that..I was on the fence between salts and V+B for a bit. I did order enough MPK and MAP to make 44lbs of MOAB.
I think I chose going with V+B because of how stupid simple it is. I weigh out what I need, dump it in, mix it up, rarely have to adjust PH....and I'm set.
That and I like to support local business. Back when I got onto V+B I drove down to there shop in San Diego and bought 75lbs of the stuff.
U can use salts or whatever you'd like I'm sure..how do u like the rdwc?easy pest or work?i grow in RDWC

All that hard work pays off tho and I bet u enjoy working w the girls:) nice set up btw.Its my first grow in hydro and I love it. my stems are huge the size of my forarms and you get big nice plants. I drain and fill reservoir when ive topped 50% of my total gallons of water. my reservoir is 15 gallons total but its a recirculating system so in total once my buckets are filled its 45gallons total. so when ive topped with 20gallons i drain and fill again with fresh water/nutes
-I will say the biggest pain is draining and filling my reservoir 3 times with 15gallons of water and then mixing my nutes 3 times. thats about 1-2hours (im a neat freak so i clean the reservoir with h2o2 and wipe down the pump and attached pipe. but im only doing this on average 2times a month so its okay.
I love LST,,I super crop up till 2nd week of bloom..nice even canopy and blocks auxins so bottom branches shoot upfor my next grow im going to do Lst and then sog once they get to big to tie down. on the buckets. im running 2 digital dimmable ballast right now 1200watts. i didnt train my plants and one got to big so it messed with my lighting but lessoned learned!

Nah,,well kinda..super cropping is when u squeeze the branch/stalk between your finger and thumb, and crush it so it bends...enough to keep it bent but try not to brake the skin..although not really a biggie if u do.but it makes the plant think its been topped by blocking the auxins(growth hormone that one of its tasks is vertical growth),so the auxind redirvert down to the lower branches and makes them shoot up..you can even the canopy and make more colas..less stress then topping,..way faster recovery time.sometimes I'll do this to a plant that won't branch out..or in bloom to even the canopy or control stretchnice! by supercrop you mean damaging the stem and branches, lollipopping, and trimming lower branches?
yes ive read about this. ive also read it takes much longer for the plant to recover thats its a long process but the payoff is well worth it from what ive read.Nah,,well kinda..super cropping is when u squeeze the branch/stalk between your finger and thumb, and crush it so it bends...enough to keep it bent but try not to brake the skin..although not really a biggie if u do.but it makes the plant think its been topped by blocking the auxins(growth hormone that one of its tasks is vertical growth),so the auxind redirvert down to the lower branches and makes them shoot up..you can even the canopy and make more colas..less stress then topping,..way faster recovery time.sometimes I'll do this to a plant that won't branch out..or in bloom to even the canopy or control stretch
They recover way faster this way than they do from topping.super cropping is a form of LST..yes ive read about this. ive also read it takes much longer for the plant to recover thats its a long process but the payoff is well worth it from what ive read.
once the stem/brach is bent do you leave it like that or does the plant tighten back up? and by the lower branches shooting up does that mean they it catch up to the upper branches? thanks!
U can super crop and tie down too..or get freaky with it,top, and make a manifoldThey recover way faster this way than they do from topping.super cropping is a form of LST..
Sometimes they stay bent and branches shot up off the bent stalk, dometimes they just strighten back uk..but when done right it also creates a knot and strengthens the stalk.
This is just my preferd method of training..i hope i dont sound like im saying its the best way to train.the best way is whatever works for the individual.different strokes for different folks:)feel free to ask any questions tho and if I can answer them I'd be more then happy to do so..you seem like your doing great,,and a great grower always asks questions and keeps learning,,imo
Hope this was helpful bud..
I think your fine..from what you've said u keep things clean, and you have air movement. Your good bro..IMO.quick question.. my current temp in my tent is 61deg and humidity is 41% should i be concerned about bud mold etc?
And please, ask as many questions as you'd like..I've read so many damn books that its all beginning to sound the same..so sharing what I've read and learned gives it purpose..and I'm sure I'll be asking you questions bout your rdwc soonquick question.. my current temp in my tent is 61deg and humidity is 41% should i be concerned about bud mold etc?

A bit hard to see but are the tricks all cloudy or amber?and a whole bud shot would b cool to see..but its personal preference once they are at least all cloudy..I sacrifice a bit of yeild because I enjoy a more cerebral high, head high (cloudy tricks w a few ambers),if u want that knock out, couch lock high you'd lean more towards all amber.they say once you think IRS ready, give it another week..but as I said, its preferencewhat do you think of the trics? I think I am ready to begin my 3 day flush. should I wait a little longer? or should I start my flush tomorrow?
