Have you guys looked into the stuff the nurseries carry.Certified organic compost $32 a cubic yard,it's machined down to a nice consistency. Mixed with perlite & half yard soil it makes a lite quick draining soil.

I spent about 100 bucks on manures and perlite along with premium potting soils, I now have about 25 cu ft of really great stuff for 1/10 the price. Just had to let it cook for a month

I spent 24 dollars for 3 plants, didnt let it cook hahahah... no premium potting soil either.

Nice! But your native soil kicks ass I'm assuming? Also I should be able to do 6 8ft plants or bigger with the same dirt, just gunna have to move it around hahah

Luckily it has so many buffers in it, I can throw 3.0 phed water on it and it always ends up, 7.0,
When I add cow poo as an amendment in large amounts it ends up 6.5 after a couple weeks of cooking. I was watering the plants with 9.0 pH water in cow poo at 4.5 pH and the plants didn't mind the swing at all

i have ,but the only sell in bags of 2 cuft here,,i get mine in bulk a yrd manure compost for 36 bucks,still steaming,,the dude that load my truck always put 2 yrds though,,im real good with that,,like he says,it aint nothing but shiiit,lmao

my native soil is rock and lots of it,,i have to truck in my soil,,im getting there ,about 3yrds and 3yrds compost and i bee done,,that will build the 2 more spots in the big garden and build mamas garden behind the house,,as expensive as the 45 gal containers are,im just gonna buy barrels and split in half and they last longer,,55 gal food barrel 25 bucks,,thinking 4 barrels and thats 8 pots for her to get started,cant do all at once or she think im done,,lamo gotta manipulate her you know,,were i still get stuff i need,,gt tell ya,,she a critter to deal with,haahh

The tea costs about $360 for nine plants.I'm using Mr Bs green trees growth & flower lines mixed with worm castings.

I don't when you consider most growers spend $175 a cubic yard for their soil. I'll have about $250 in electric bills and plenty of smoke if thing go well

if i use it like perlite too.. since i have none. only perlite i have is what is in my shity soil. hah. so figure you know your typical 3to 1.. anyone got a guess?

well that is a dumb question. hah.. i can figure that out at the time i guess before i charge by mixing up a pot.. sometimes i do not think shit all the way through.

true ,i spend right at about 400 to make my dirt,,but that doesnt need reamend for 4 to 5 yrs,,compost is about it yearly,,and i make it also,leaves grass clippings and cow shit from a friend that own them,,plus he got 300 acres of damn waste ,tree cutter pay him 30 bucks a truck load to dump there and he goes threw and sells the wood,,for weed,i use same dirt,but i do spend 40 bucks for a gal of botanicare soil blend,,and a 1lb bag of kool bloom hell i couldnt even tell ya how long that shit last,,ive grown 2 years with it and havent even hardly broke the seal,,my main cost is electricity too,,adverage is about 250 to 300 a month

i just made 20lbs and after crunch it up came out to 3/4 of a 5 gal bucket,,go 1/3 char 1/3 compost 1/3 soil,,be sure and charge it though,,if you dont charge it ,it will suck the nutrients from your soil,,over long term thats great but the goal of it is to charge with something like ewc or microbes,,absorbs deep in it and the roots seek it out,,the main goal is to build life in thre roots zone,,so if you got mychorizae,root powder you do your clones with ewc,something along that line,,you notice all those will leach out,,the char keeps that from happenig and stay avalible to the plant,,i diud see a dude on you tube went half char half compost,,doing a side by side,with and without,,after 4 month there was a difenet difrence,,he charged his with ewc and soaked for 2 weeks and the plants same plants,day act of planting,light everything same other than the char mix vs garden soil,,huge difrence,,if it were me i would have used perlite in with it though

i only use for teas....
