I said to my friend today that I don't know why I'm drinking this water if it's not good enough for my plants. He said alkaline water is good for humans and he's not wrong. However, one of the rural counties I worked in SC had a major water issue, think Flint, Michigan here. I think we all have the same city water problems across the country, no one is ready to admit it fully yet.

My water is hard and ppm out of the tap is around 350. pH is around 7.8-8.0 out of the tap. I’ve learned you have to feed right away after mixing your nutrients. If you u wait too long, then your pH will spike back up. I think the pH down degrades over time.

Uh oh , better keep our fingers crossed that "its a girl" do you have only one sssdh going ?
Its not too late to start a few more !
And, no i dont see any indication that its a male , probably wont see the sex till you flip your light hours , though sometimes if the plants are growing particularly strong and tall, you can guess its a male , but i think in your case you will have to wait till week one or two into flower cycle to identify the sex.....
If you really like the strain , you might be able to squeeze in a couple more seeds now as insurance.....

To be honest, I'm on a mission and won't mind having a male. Hopefully, I can learn from y'all what to do.

As background, I have a personal theory about feminized/clones. No need to debate it with me, it's just something I have in my head and it hasn't left. I'm also on a mission to find a plant that talks to my Parkinson's and menopause. The person that sent me the SSSD in place of my original order understood that and sent me these. I have some Harlequin and Harle-Tsu on the way, too. I was trying to hold on to my remaining SSSD seeds to see how this went. However, I am antsy to start more. :)
