Two things, one is on the pettiness scale:
@dire wolf Do you remember when I went all in to help that joker not to long ago about his wife losing her break with reality? I think I had mentioned something later, when I realized that I had been had that I wondered if it had to do with some big story that was trying to come out from the west of the U.S. a couple of years ago about people who get sick from smoking cannabis. If I hadn't, that's what that guy's story reminded me of. ANYWAY...I signed into a popular business social media platform today and there the story was. Imagine that. I had to check myself on the reality scale because I thought it was the same article, but nope. The pictures are different, but the names are the same. Anyway, synchronicity. You would think I would not be such a sucker at 47, but I am actually grateful for it in a way.
Onto more serious, scientific matters:
I just read the science behind how the virus spreads so far and wide. It likes to basically kill all liver functionality. So...if anyone has a problem with alcohol (most of society has some margin of dependence [no judgement]), your liver will be primed for replication. It likes to send a widespread virus across your body at one time by disabling the liver.
If you take a trip from the liver, fluid likes to go from your liver to your kidneys....where further filtration occurs (via kidney tubules [think like sponge straws here] which filters out bad and good. So now, scientists are in a chicken before the egg situation because no one is sure which comes or came first. Option 1 is where they are heading now, but it's subject to change.
So, you break it down...if your liver is being destroyed...why is it being destroyed? Your liver's job is to filter out the yuck, send some to the spleen (washing machine of our blood) to be cleaned for whole blood, the rest as excrement...meaning there would have to be intestinal involvement, therefore gastrointestinal involvement...stomach filters to the liver, too.
Yes, it's exhausting in my brain, Y'all. All of this to say, it sounds like to me either way, this virus like to cause sepsis quickly. Eat more spicy foods...vinegars...even if you don't like them. Eat more Vitamin C. Sit in the sun (Don't be ridiculous). Open your windows, etc, if you can.
