I just read an article where it's been found that they have medicine in their pollen. Think dabs here. I'm sitting here wondering if it was cured properly, how wonderful it would be? I'm not going to sit here and begin to imagine that I'm going to wait to accumulate enough pollen to make it worth it (and I don't have proper equipment)...however, there is also medicine in their joints...if the stem is hollow, it cannot be spongy, then it's too far. I'd have to let it ferment for at least six months. I'm going to try it.
Remember to vent it this time so the cover doesn't pop off and startled the hell out of you in the middle of the night again!! Lol ✌😎

Hahahaha! Glad to see you are following my train of thought. I'm sitting here debating on if it would work well with the root beer concoction and if I can turn it into a bitter, then a syrup. Should be cured in time for Christmas. Hmmmm. Thank you for the jolt of inspiration!

Now, in my head, I want to cure the boys a certain way and I'd appreciate y'alls feedback. Today is THE opportune day because they are abundantly pollinating (Girls are well protected, no worries there. Paramedic skills come in handy here). If the stem is the appropriate width and not spongey, I'd like to pull them out of the medium, separate them from the dirt, then hang them in my attic, upside down (Y shaped) for a couple of weeks. What do y'all think?

Also, today's pictures:

Also, two things occurred to me just now:

1. In case anyone is worried about processing the boys in a controlled environment, the attic is pretty good to go. I've already checked it out. Might get too smelly in there now that I'm thinking of it. I'll also be processing in 95% grape grain alcohol.

2. If anyone has a better idea on how to cure, please let me know as long as it as basic as it gets. I think it's important we all get back to basics considering what is happening with the world. It's my belief that some of us may get internet interruptions, power interruptions, and the like as a norm for a while.

I laughed and laughed when I read that story! You made my morning 😊
I used to homebrew beer, I've had a few fermentation *issues myself! (*aka beer rockets) 🍺🚀 ..and it's always the middle of the night when they pop their tops!
😎

Glad I could provide a laugh. I'm sure there will be more. ✌ 🤩

It's lonely without my boys. I don't like walking by their tent. Their parts are partially simmering on the stove right now. I'm wondering if leaves could be used as a legit dye or if it would wash out after a while? (rhetorical). Because of the color, I'm thinking fresh isn't best. Most herbs would be good, but I think I read that the green from cannabis is straight chlorophyll, which is no good. I'll have to research further and continue on until I find out otherwise.

Today I feel like it's a weird time to be alive. We are all sitting in quarantines, the world over. We are all heading for a level playing field. Rich, poor, working class, politicians, doctors, nurses... None of us will have a story to one up each other with. What a lesson we are learning towards one another. My husband wanted to complain about bills not being paid, etc. I'm all just not attached to it, I'm inconvenienced, sure. I may bitch. But, we REALLY are all in this together. How do we conduct ourselves moving forward? We have another chance at life.

I hope each and every one of you who reads this is healthy and as peaceful as possible. 💗 🙏

Awesome! Thank you for sharing this info!

yes, i think this why we all are here. even if its recreation, its still medicine!!!
You are spot on with that. I did mention on one of these posts, I wish I had had the opportunity after coming right off the ambulance for good. It would have worked wonders for my PTSD. Even if you don't smoke it, you know? Very zen meditation. I wonder how many people realize how spiritual the plant is vs just slinging them for profit and what the differences in yields are? Do you know of a study? I'll look it up, but I thought I would ask.

Don't have a loupe yet and the app was weird, but figured I would post these anyway. Shaky hands today, thank you for your patience.
