Seeing your plants has me so stoked for my little lady to get that size! 4 days since sprouting and she’s looking good so far. Long way to go yet.

You plan to do any training or just going with the topping?

That's awesome! Good luck 🤞
I am going to do strictly LST from here on out. I like to top once and then spread the plant out. I will use trellis nets in flower because the breeder strongly recommends them with their king kong.

Thanks you too!

Want to top mine but worried since it’s an auto it won’t have enough time to recover, so sticking with LST.

Do you find a trellis really helps with training? Or is that mainly for plants with big buds with stems that can’t support the weight?

With an auto I would say never top them personally, only use LST. They are super finicky and if you stunt them you are done. As fsr as a trellis net I just got sick of my branches falling over in flower. So we will see how it goes! Usually I end up tieing 100 ties to try and keep them upright in the last few weeks so should make things easier! 🤞

Ok so these 2 bounced back and are in full haul ass veg mode!! I was able to save the ship! Also the leaf issues with the light coloring are going away as well. No sign of fungus gnats either. Excited for these girls!!!

Wow those are looking excellent! Very healthy!

On the last pic I notice the leaves on the top set of fan leaves are slightly tilted at the tips, is that a normal thing?

Also, how many days old are these ladies? Trying to find somewhat of a “comparison” for my own little lady. Just wanna make sure she’s on the right track.

Yes the recycled soil is hot so there is some leaf clawing from too many nutes for them to handle. I do. Once they get bigger they will be fine though. I am trying out recycled soil to save money and thats something I won't do again 😂. These girls are a month and half old about. They have started growing fast now that the issues are corrected. They are in 7 gallon pots for size reference✌

Started LST in #2(right),
plants have completely bounced back. They are 1 month and 2 weeks old about. The one on the right(#2) is 5 days older.

Well the one that I could water got a tea and exploded. The other is focusing too much on vertical growth 🤦‍♂️ it just doesn't want to branch Worth a shit but I'll deal with it.i think once I can water and get a tea on the taller one it can bush out. Otherwise I'm gonna just top it a bunch if it doesn't respond to LST well🤷‍♂️
To be fair the breeder says it hates branching, it just wants to make a giant cola so we will see? Defi etely 2 wildly different phenos. Probably 2 different types of training for these bitches in the end.

We are ripping boys! Canopy building underway and hopefully trellis up in a week. Gotta be careful, once their roots are set they can get put of control quickly space wise in my phone booth

Looking great! Seem to have responded to the training well!
Thank you!
I am really happy I was able to recover them after the recycled soil nonsense. I find plants that I top once, are way easier to LST than a plant that was never topped.

Makes sense. Yeah I’m glad the soil worked out for you! Didn’t top mine as it’s an auto, but responding to the LST I did well.

Smart move, I'll be interested to see how the auto ends up canopy wise

Me too! In hindsight I probably should have waited one more week (noted in my notebook lol). New growth sites are exposed though so we shall see indeed!
The notebook will never let you down! I keep a rough copy during the grow and then transfer over Into my final notebook at the end of the grow
