Got seeds in the napkins soaking and hopin' they do ok.
I just got my order of Perlite and Coco-Coir to mix in.
Not much cause I am using the same soil which was only 2 1/2 wks in the pots.
So not worried much about any salt problems.
I will be adding some fresh soil and Perlite even tho it has perlite in the mix.
I want to make sure it's as fluffy as possible for them roots to have an easy time.
I was going to put the sprouts in mini pots but changed my mind and will use solo's after all.
Everything is ready to go!
I will be going from solo's to the main pot as soon as they look healthy enough.
Going to skip the 1 gal transfere.
Then I will water them normal (on top) for a few days (5-7?) till the roots take hold.
Then turn on the res tank with only plain 5.8 PH water.
I brought propagation lids made for the AP's 2 yrs ago but never used em.
So nows the time, I guess, to try them out.
They are supposed to keep the moisture in same as a plastic bottle.
I'm a sucker for new fangled stuff lol.
Until they out grow them it should give me some relief from a dry winter cellar.
Tied up my water hose connections with twisty ties just tight enough to have that extra hold.
1st thing to remember when removing pots from the base is to turn off the valve at the res tank. (I forgot 2x lol)
If you don't the base fills with water when you remove the pot, then, when you put the pot back it overflows and is a mess.
I put one turn off/on valve 6" from the res base.
I also put one inside the tent as my res tank is outside the tent and on a crate (gravity feed works better or I am paranoid)
I poke a very small hole in the bottom of the tent to stick the feeder hose thru.
So if I see a leak I can turn off the valve to shut water supply off and find out where that dam leak is.
I also brought the air pump with 4 outlets, one for each pot.
I turn this on high with a timer set for 4-6hrs at noon.

I had to show ya's how these look with the UV lights on lol Don't peek in there or a ALiens face hugger will get ya!
