Very good journal of your grow. BTW how much do those leds cost? I wanted to equate the comparison with digitals and T5's. I noticed severe leaf curling back in post 41. Possible salt build-up which is the same as overfert. Check ppm/ph from runoff with distilled water. Needs a flush, imo. When the leaves are reaching up to the light is when you have it dialed in. There was one like that in some of your pix. Great job! CO2?

Thank you, I paid 1000US for everything-I used to grow with digitals until I decided to try this(mostly out of boredom) no real reason, I just liked the aesthetics.I'll continue in the winter with my lumatek ballasted hps, as well as the led.At that time I'll be posting a led vs hps grow- same clones, same conditions-etc.Tune in for that one man.The disaster you see in post 41 is a plant that I just abused the shit out of- my green thumb turned brown on me-live and learn. Thanks for stoppin in man, see ya around:smiley_joint::smiley_joint:

I notice that Blue Hash is really tall. How far away is the UFO from the other tops?

bout 18 inches, the guys at prosource told me I had the unit too close to the blue hash(32 inches) but I fucked up and didnt lst her, optimally they keep telling me 18-20 inches from the top of the canopy is perfect for light dispersal.Too close you're missing those narrow beams of light.I noticed the middle to lower section of the blue hash is amazingly developed in comparison to the top.I'll post a few angled shots tomorrow to show you.Not only was I using too much light before-in the wrong proportions, but I had them too close-live n learn.

tied down the blue hash, lowered the unit to 18 inches above the canopy.

EH....I really wasnt impressed-to the point where I terminated the grow and put some good ole fashioned(and proven) HID light. The larger plants yielded next to nothing-1/4 oz per plant-thats when I made the switch. The problem was that the grow area was simply too large for the unit.It would have been a totally different story in a 2x2 tent.700US to light up a 2x2 space?So...I've moved on, sold the gear and learned my lesson. Those led nugs were fluff, to a ridiculous degree.Heres my new garden..

these gals are 4 weeks in.Big difference.Bottom line guys-this will work, but on a micro grow level. The jumbo ufo can really only handle a 2x2 space-not nearly enough for me.

I just want one for mums, especially during the summer. :anim_30: Glad you're moving on to bigger and better things though. You going to start a new journal?
