Not sure what 6 x 4 x 2 means.but yeah multiple light sources are good.50 watts per square foot is awesome and will probably need co2 sup to utilize the full potential of light.i run from 20 to 30 watts psf with no co2 and it works decent.I'm not trying to jack the thread, but while we're talking about LED. Would I benefit any by running both the Mars hydro 300watt and the king plus 1000watt in a 6x4x2

thanks great information was thinking that it would work well by it's self --- what led do you recommend ?For whatever grow space the viperspectra 450 won't do it by itself. In my 4x4 tent I had one with two other fixtures, eventually having a respectable outcome but not without other fixtures. The tent had over 400 watts draw of LED and that fixture only draws 90 watts.

That is what might be confusing the noobs. They see a light that says it is a LED 300 thinking that is a true 300 watts.
A Mars Hydro 300 pulls a little over a hundred Watts at the at the wall. You can get a kilowatt meter cheap at Home Depot that you just plug your unit into. And you can find out how many true Watts you're really pushing.Mars hydro 300watt, and a king plus 1000watt... Which to my understanding is equal to about 700 watt hps both together.

You really can't compare Hps to LEDs like that. It's just another marketing scam. It's all about your spectrum and the watts you're pushing.I just wanted to know if it will speed things up
