My first grow is almost in the books! Just pulled the light dep tarp for the last time this season. Last one left in the hoop house of four. Probably going to take her down before sunrise tomorrow. This one was my strongest, healthiest, most uniform and predictable of the four seeds—all from a jar of Wedding Cake by Lifted purchased at a WA rec store . Randomly, it happens to be the plant that I broke a branch off and stuck into some potting soil. So, it was cloned. Tent and lights should be here this week. Hoping to keep it going while I experiment indoors with some auto strains this winter. I learned so much this summer. Can’t wait for spring 🙌

My favorite writer Albert Camus wrote an essay called the Myth of Sisyphus, where uses the Greek myth of Sisyphus as an allegory for finding meaning and value in life after the "death of god." You see, Sisyphus was doomed to roll a boulder up a hill for eternity, and every time he reached the top, the boulder rolled back down and he had to start over, knowing full well that there was no way out, that it would happen again and that there was nothing he could do but continue to roll the boulder up the hill. The trick in Camus' allegory is that Sisyphus learns to accepts his fate and with that comes happiness. I leave you with this image and the final paragraph from the essay:

Event 139637082

"I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds their burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. The universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy."

So, is Camus' interpretation of Sisyphus an allegory for trimming? Or is trimming an allegory for life? Or did I just get too high off my own stash?

But yeah, trimming sucks.

Getting ready to harvest some of my plants but this one although a week or 2 out is just packing on the buds. It’s a KQR x SDubb x Cherry Cookies x MAC. There are at least 20+ cola’s just like this on it. Happy Days ahead.View attachment 902660
is that one flower really 4 ounces? It doesn't look it! granted, after trimming and drying it will lose some but damn... where is the liter for size perspective? hehe...

Don't chop your seeded branches is it is raining. As soon as you chop em, the water makes em open! I lost a bunch of beans doing this. Just noticed after looking at them with a scope. Don't chop till plant is dry! This was my public service announcement

here is a full size bic! Lol this was phone home x iranian early. It had really pretty purple hairs but they disappeared. Was done end Sept. Biggest yielding plant I've grown so far. Buuuuuuuut....she molded the most out of all 12 plants. Lost prolly two ounces. View attachment 902942View attachment 902943View attachment 902944View attachment 902945View attachment 902946

Here is some more pics. I should of took more, but when the rain got serious, had to chop and triiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim in full speed. Did Willamette Valley pineapple from Oregon green seed. Last run the sweet life saver pheno was awesome. Can't wait for smoke testing! And did a homegrown strain using sugar black rose from delicious seeds, and a blue dream kush line from a grow buddy. And had a phone home that favored the triangle kush side. Can see the pic of a branch that looks like cookies. I think in this humidity, would rather have plant structure like this. Less mold issues.
