Well as this year is going fast I just realised bow season starts in les than 3 weeks. I haven't even looked at my spot and am hoping all of the food plot plants seeded last year and few again this year. Last year was my first time planting a food plot so I'm not sure what year 2 looks like. @Motarebel your venison must taste farm raised!!! Looks like good grazing over there!

Growing up we would eat venison, what seemed like every night in the winters, after deer season. Now, I don't really like the taste of it anymore. If i'm not going to eat it, I'm not going to shoot it, so no deer season for me. You guys have a good Turkey season too, it's coming up.

I do all my hunting in the north woods,hate hearing school busses and barking dogs. I cut my teeth in the U.P. so i like being secluded. Plus i don't think many could handle being down wind of my smokin tree! lol I checked my food plots and they were green and getting hit hard already. A couple oaks looked like a herd of hogs hitting them but mucho deer shit around so no doubt were gonna have an early winter. I'll take pics of my food plot is it's still there,seen em wipe out half an acre over night.

@MrBanjo- just the opposite for me,hated it as a kid but it doesn't get any better or healthier for red meat.

We end up getting drunk and playing pretty good up north. I've only taken one up north. These south Genesee county bucks taste so good!!!!

So Michigan's offense couldn't score against Utah! And if there qb didnt get hurt get would if ran the score up on us. Well not to mention that the second string guy was starting to settle in when the delay hit. brady joke sucks SO bad that Greg mattison was cutting into him on the sideline. What a disaster.

Msu needs to keep thumping people. To have a shot. Anyone else think eastern could beat u of m.

Sorry to be so down on Michigan I have family that played for them so I was bred to be a fan but they've got to give me something to look.

My lil man's team finally got their 1st W yesterday (1 - 5) lol, it was their homecoming game too!! They were so happy they started doing somersaults & backflips lol ...next week is the last reg. season game and we go to play the toast of the league at their home field, hope the momentum rolls over! I had a chance to go watch U-M play yesterday but since my Saturdays are locked down with the shorties my lil bro went to the Big House instead to watch the game in my place ...says he loved the experience but it's the last time he'll go, it took them over an hour to get back on 94 lol dude has serious road rage problems!!

Yeah the Lion's D looked pretty top notch today, holding that high powered offense to 1 touchdown made me proud!

Septober baseball! Gotta love it, now win!!! Can't stand to see our guys shut out but it happens to often. I'm not a stat guy but I bet they've been blanked more times this year than any other recent years
