If you think you’re seeing tap roots you are, but they can’t split the shell, that’s from me clipping them.

That one is ready to go bro

I’m just a big sucker for nostalgia, especially when it comes to the weed I was smoking in high school. I wouldn’t be a daily smoker for the last 29 years if I wasn’t getting high. I mentioned the other day that we wouldn’t have continued smoking brick weed for years as a cheap readily available sometimes only available smoke, if it wasn’t getting us high. Yes there definitely was some stuff that was horrible, but for the most part brick weed was just more labor intensive to consume than mids or kind bud, and much cheaper.
I hermed a run and my buddy said, "is it still good, or do you chop and start over..."

I said.. "Bro... we spent most of our youth picking seeds out of bud. A few more beans ain't going to hurt 😂"

To brainstorm a bit... I saw a guy on Instagram doing tissue culture. He soaked a 30 year old seed then used a blade and tweezer to split it carefully. The insides he just plopped onto sterilized agar in a tube. Kinda like a petri dish, and it sprouted.

Also saw someone put "stubborn" seeds into an ultrasonic cleaner. Like the kind for jewelry.

A lot of times even if the genetics are viable in the old seed, the husk is too dried and tough for the sprout to split it. Just needs to bust out of its shell

Hey farmers, sorry for the lack of updates, but my work schedule and home schedule have changed drastically over the past week and I’m struggling to keep up, been a few days since I’ve even looked at the seeds. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that when I do open up the CannaKan I will see twelve lil brick heads babies with tap roots out……
Dude I’ve been too busy! I get it. Just gotta make sure you can stop long enough to catch your breath (in your case do a J)🤣

hope your seedlings are doing well!✌️

there was one guy that made a weed nutcracter the pin pops them just a little bit
you could recreate this with a simple nut and bolt
