Flying was really fun. Flew over both of my gardens and checked out all the neighbors. Was having a hard time using my phone when I was up in the air so I didn't take any pictures. Still really fun though View attachment 541505 View attachment 541506
What a blast! My dad was a pilot in the Navy and I still remember him taking us girls out flying when we were small. What I mostly remember is the plane banking and doing turns and my sisters SCREAMING their bloody heads off and I just wanted them to shut up so I could enjoy the ride. I love flying.

Hate flying. Ears don't pressurize properly anymore. No scuba for me anymore either, last trip wasn't fun.

My father in law has a pilots licence, and fly's my wife around. I won't step foot in that death trap, especially since my father in law is very accident prone. Would be cool to see the competition. Take a picture or two, post em up.

It feels so good to actually harvest a substantial amount.. A lot of people don't realize what goes into these massive projects... I started off in the middle of march on a rainy day with my two friends.. We moved over 150 yards of dirt in the next two weeks- (i hired a couple extra guys for this).. All with shovels and wheel barrels.... Built a greenhouse out of a 10 foot by 20 foot carport and hung up some tek lights for supplemental lighting and to stay out of the bad weather...I then gathered and transplanted a ton of plants - I always do a lot of extra starts so i can hook some people up with them and that way i get to choose the best ones and give the strugglers away.... I built cages and got everything ready for transplanting then drove half the plants in a u haul to the other property... Then I sexed males and females for the next two months making sure not to miss any males.. (much harder then you think) especially when my friends put three plants in a 5 gallon pot and none of them are sexed.. There always seem to be a tiny male hiding somewhere that you always seem to look right past.... Then I hired my fiance's mom to help me hand water both spots for the next three months (hundreds of hours of work).. We would take turns- She would always do plain water that has been PHed and I would use fertilizers such as liquid seaweed, cal mag, fish emulsion- the list goes on and on- I use a huge variety of fertilizers and am always switching it up.. Then came the cleaning up of the under branches (lolli popping) Then spraying both gardens a couple of times ( I really should have sprayed more then I did) - the caterpillars are a pain in the ass-- Next year I'm getting two back pack sprayers and am gonna be way more on top of the caterpillars... Then 2 months later after an early rain and having massive plants fall over and break and tons of things go wrong through out the whole year that I am constantly dealing with I finally get to harvest some of the best tops.. Overall this is a very difficult 8 month project with absolutely no guarantee that any of the money I have invested will come back to me-- But with some good Ju Ju and by hiring the right help we are finally ready to cut down and hang a majority of our tops---- YEAH----- Now the fun actually begins,,, - (I really enjoy the farming part of the whole thing.. Growing the plants is what I enjoy doing.). Over the next two months it will take my crew as many hours to process the whole harvest as it took me to do ALL OF THE WORK THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE YEAR..... pretty crazy how much works it takes to process it, there is no way around the amount of hours it takes- even with the triminator and good workers.... I love what I do and am going to continue doing it-- Im not sure how the whole legal thing is going to change things but I hope that I can always have a job in the marijuana industry and that I can provide for my family with it... Thx everyone who has been following and I hope everyone has a good year and many more good years to come --- Thx again for watching

Went to the other garden today and did a really nice selective harvesting.. I sent my main workers out ahead of me today to start chopping down the blue dream colas first. ( It was nice to get a break I have been extremely busy lately ) They did an excellent job and everything was cruising when I showed up with sandwiches for everyone... Took all of the blue dream colas and filled up about 50 percent of the drying space.. Then went to the blackberry x headbands and a couple of the other seed strains and filled up about another 30 percent of the room we had.. Filled the last 20 percent with the Sour D tops ( we only took the biggest most choice nugs on the sour D because they could all go another week but I really wanted to totally fill up the dry room...) Then we adjusted the De Hums- and hung up a bunch more fans I bought at friedmans.... Then we went to the other garden and made sure everything was drying correctly.. (don't buy used de-hums) One of the most important things I can say to everyone is how important your dry rooms are and the people that you have help you at the end.. Generally the biggest mistakes are made during the harvesting and curing process... It is very difficult when you have large amounts of gear... Be prepared and like my workers always tell me -----"" we need more fans ""
